I'm sure many of you were able to watch the Daytona 500. For thos of you who didn't, you missed history. The second fastest Daytona ever, the biggest crowd ever, and a Ford didn't lead a lap. More than that, Dale Earnhardt FINALLY won the Daytona 500. He has had all kinds of problems trying to win over the last 20 years. Just when alot of fans, including yours truly, thought he would never win, he did it. Now what? What does this man have to do next? Coming from a fan who really doesn't like him, I say nothing. He is a seven time champion, and now FINALLY he has won every race on the circuit (in the US). I am glad that Dale won, although I do love the D.A.L.E. (Daytona Another Losing Effort)shirts I see here and then at the track. Now maybe we can go to Daytona without bugging Earnhardt about winning it. That poses a question to the race media. What are you guys gonna have to talk about now? Maybe Rusty not winning it? He hasn't done it in his 16 years, maybe the media can harass him now. Well I am going to step down from the soapbox, Congratulations Dale. You earned it!
