Bristol: Through My Eyes...

Ok motorheads, like you didn't know I was going to write about this race. Of all the races on the Winston Cup schedule, the night race at Bristol is my favorite. I look forward to watching it and I'd ALMOST give up a body part to see it live. I have grown up with short track racing and Bristol is the epitemy(sp) of short tracks. This past night race was a flashback with a different result. Ok Earnhardt fans...you might want to turn the computer off now. I watched this race with some friends and we all, in one voice, said the same as all of the people watching around the world..what a bunch of BS!!! I'd say more but hey, geocities does have rules on that sort of thing. Dale Earnhardt, sensing that he could flood the market with Bristol victory cars, decided he would wipe out the entire field of cars on the lead lap. Terry Labonte was the main victim, but they all paid. Terry had already lost the lead due to another old fart, Darrell Waltrip (by the way, his fans might not like this either) tapping him and spinning him out. Well, the Ice Man went to the pit, got new tires, and by far was the best car out there. Terry smoked the whole field and fought his way past everyone to take the lead back within 5 laps. Then, just like a few years ago, Dale Earnhardt popped Terry in the tail and sent him flying. He took out every major contender that was left in the field. A few night races ago, Earnhardt pulled the same stunt. He popped Terry in the tail but Terry slid across the finish line first. Well, I guess the old dog did learn a new trick. Wreck the man before he finishes the race and maybe you'll win huh? Congratulations Dale, you have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are the biggest Jackass in NASCAR. As if there were any doubts before. What gets me, and you might see this on RPM2Night, because I "Asked the Professor," is that Jerry Nadeau was penalized for popping Dale Jarrett earlier in the race and he didn't do anything near as costly to him than Earnhardt did to Terry. Why didn't Earhardt get penalized? I guess that Mr. Childress has more pull with NASCAR officials than SB3 motorsports. Ok ok ok yes I feel better now and I'll calm down, I will end with the same comment I gave to an Earnhardt fan I know, who's probably reading this. I thought it was Winston NO BULL racing. Bristol: through my eyes was ALL BULL! Thanks for listening.
