Carl is Steve's hunting partner. He also has a 1972 Blazer 4x4. It's got 4" of lift in the front and 6" of lift in the rear. Power is provided by a 381 Chevy hydraulic roller small-block. 15"x10" wheels are shod with 33"x12.50"-15 BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires.
Left side view of the Blazer with some rolling hills in the background.
Quartering rear shot of the red Blazer.
A shot of the left side from a front angle. Note the Corbeau Targa RS Wide seats.
Another front quartering shot from a little more of a front angle. You can see the Trail Master dual steering stabilizer and the front differential cover guard from this angle.
This is a shot through the windshield of the Targa RS Wide seats. These seats were designed to be used in rally racers and sports cars, hence the holes in the seat backs for shoulder harnesses.
This is a shot of the driver's side Targa RS Wide seat. Corbeau's bracketry for the seat needed to be modified to set the seat in the Blazer correctly. It was too high in back so about an inch and a quarter was removed from the rear supports and some bracing was added.
Here's the stock dash with the optional factory tachometer. Also note the Momo Corse steering wheel.
Moving to the right of the driver's seat, here are the factory shifters for the SM465 4-speed transmission and the NP205 transfer case. The transmission shift lever sports a Hurst T-handle.
Forward of the shifters you can see the clean installation of a Pioneer radio/cassette/CD changer control deck and the A/C controls.
Here's a shot at the left rear M/T Classic II wheel. Note through the holes in the wheel a disc brake rotor and caliper.
