My 1997 Golf Trek
Here is a front 3/4 view of the car. It was sold on 4/26/99.
Now that I have sold my new VW I will have the money to work on Noodles. Hopefully I will have him all finished up in 2 or 3 months.
Options include: roof rack with 2 bicycle rails, power steering, A/C, premium sound, alloy wheels, fog lights, sports interior/ gauges/ antenna, cruise control, rear window wiper and defrost, and 6 way adjustable drivers seat.
This is the back end of my Golf. It was a really great car. I highly recommend one to anyone looking for a lot of car for a small price. This model is the Golf Trek. It came loaded with options for only $800 more than a regular Golf. But now that she is gone I am going full bore on Noodles, my 1967 Beetle restoration.
Interior shots
The steering wheel and gauges. This is not the normal gauge package but the upgraded sports gauges. The steering wheel is leather wrapped as are the shift boot and emergency brake. This is the engine compartment. It is a 2.0L fuel injected 4 cylinder engine. This is a shot through the rear door with the rear seats folded. The car has a lot of room with the seats down.
A shot of the interior from the hatch. Another shot from the hatch but with the seats folded down. The rear seat splits 60/40 and when both are down there is an amazing amount of cargo space.
