Restoration of my 1967 Beetle

"Noodles"

Noodles is a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle (type 1). I have no idea where the name Noodles came from. Noodles first came into our family in March of 1987. My dad bought it for my brother Mark who used the car for about a year or so. Sometime in 89 my oldest brother Eric took over the car and used it for errands around town. In 1992 my mother took over the car and it sat in her yard for a few months until my youngest brother Brian began using Noodles for school. The only brother not to have owned Noodles at one point or another is Barry (Barry and Brian are twins) who has managed to get by without the car one way or another!
My two little brothers (Barry and Brian) joined the United States Marine Corps in Jan 1996. Brian (the current user of the bug in '96) decided he no longer needed it and returned it to my mom. Here Noodles sat for almost 3 years in the rain, snow, and sun until I came along in Oct of 98. Suprisingly enough time has not been to harsh on Noodles. Noodles will need at least 1 floor pan, and two heater channels, but the rest of the car is in good shape.
