Easy one, actually my first ale. 

GRAINS:

YEAST:

Amber extract  (8lbs)
Crystal 60L (1 lb)
Carapils (1/2 lb)

California Ale Yeast

Boil all except last oz. of hops for 1 hr.  Add last oz. in the last 5 min.  Heat off, cool, pitch yeast.  Primary:  6 days, secondary:  3 weeks.
