More Jimi
Live at Winterland: Cool setlist with "Experienced", "Axis" and some good cover tunes from Cream and a version of "Killing Floor."  Nice to them play their early hits with the same zest as in the Monterey concert.  Out-of-print from what I've heard.  There also exists the "+3" version of this date as well.  A must for Jimi collectors.
Live atWoodstock: One of his most famous gigs.  A great version of our anthem is probably the big highlight here.  However, there is quite a lot of jamming with many of the selections.  This was the beginning of the Gypsys and the directions here suggest that...greater, funkier bass lines and more room to improvise and experiment.  A good transitional CD to Band of Gypsys/Fillmore.
Cry of Love (1970): Hendrix's fisrt posthumous release.  A collection of studio stuff that was remixed with some pasrts added that had been unfinished.  The best of the lot from these sessions untill "First Rays" was released in 1997.  Now, I'd say it's a good for collectors.
Crash Landing (1975): Some good tracks here, but a short album. Tracks like Stone Free and Peace in Mississippi are good.  If I remember, there are tracks that I haven't seen before. Out of print these days anyways.
Jimi Hendrix (Lifetimes):  This release contains four discs featuring many rare outtakes, interview and the L.A. Forum concert back in 1969 (seen here).  There is also some home demos too which may be the best part of the collection.  Cool to have, but four discs are quite a bit.  I found just the Forum concert at Music Trader for $9!  Good stuff.
Jimi Hendrix- Live Concerts (1982): I remember when I bought this one on vinyl.  At the time it was one of the best concert compilations and you know, it still is today.  Taken from concerts from Winterland, Albert Hall, San Diego, etc...  I know it was made on CD, but it's been a while since I've seen it.  The vinyl is out of print.  A good find.
Jimi Hendrix Plays Monterey (1986): Finally, a full fledged Monterey album.  Really, one of his best sets...the first US gig.  and this was the concert that blew away everyone.  Hendrix plays his hits..."Purple Haze,"  "Fire," etc...all those on Are You Experienced and some other gems found on Smash Hits.  A must for fans.
Stages (1990): A four disc collection of four concerts in Paris, Stockholm, San Diego, and Atlanta.  All but three track have previously been unreleased.  A major find, but out of print.  Had a chance to get this a few times....damn!
