| About Our Childcare |
|
I've been in business for over five and a half years. I'm a mother of three grown girls and a grandmother of eight...six beautiful granddaughters and two very handsome grandsons. 'Pop', my husband Daniel is the other half of my daycare. The little ones greet him at the door each evening with open arms. We've been married for 36 years! I first went into the daycare business after many years of working in the 'outside world' and my last child moved out of the house...our home was very quiet, so we decided to open a daycare. Since we don't have our own children home any longer the daycare kids have the run of the house, and a lot of fun while they learn and play ;) |

| Preschool Programs |
|
We are currently using Fun Steps and Carol's Affordable Curriculum. We work on ABC's, numbers, science and themes for Summer. This summer the kids are going to have a month long project of Food: Including Healthy food, table manners, the different food groups and felt board food projects. We will also dry and varinsh different breads. At the end of the project Me-Maw will present each child with a handmade place mat with their name on it. Our science projects uually come in the form of a summer thunderstorm or the windy days and different weather changes. |
