AJ looked at the clock on the wall of the studio and started tapping his fingers on the console causing Brian to glare at him. "Would you stop that please? You'll see Alexandra soon so just chill. OUT!" Brian still could not stand the sight of Xanda but he was starting to learn to live with it. It had been a month since their Valentine's date and Xanda and AJ were officially a couple. Brian knew that their promotional tour would be starting in two months and if he was going to be able to live with AJ then he was going to have to start making an effort with Xanda. It was obvious that AJ was starting to fall for her which meant a new tour member. "Sorry Bri. She's in New York for business and her ex is there with her." AJ mumbled. "What!?" Nick asked as he walked into the building. "You let Alex go to New York knowing that John is there? Are you NUTS?" Nick shouted. AJ rolled his eyes. "She's a big girl, Nick. I trust her." Nick sat across from AJ, staring at him. "You've got some balls, man." He replied.

Nick and Xanda had become close in the past few months. He knew almost as much about Xanda as AJ did, but not quite. Xanda had started to tell AJ all about her past including the small details she would never tell a soul. AJ in turn became more protective of her. Any smart mouthed comment from Brian was met with an angry friend standing in front of him ready to knock him out. Conflicts were more common between the two with Nick usually siding with AJ. "Yo AJ! I got a phone message for you!" Howie shouted as he walked across the studio where the other guys were sitting around, getting ready for a live interview. "From?" AJ asked with little interest as he kept checking the clock. "Your woman." Howie replied, taking a seat next to AJ. AJ perked up suddenly, wanting to know everything. "She's on a plane as we speak. She said something about punching John in the eye and leaving quickly. Anyway, she'll tell you all about it when she gets here." Howie explained, laughing at the thought of tiny Xanda punching a man who was supposedly 6'2". "That's my woman." AJ said with pride. "Is she going with you to the Grammy's?" Nick asked as he placed his headphones on. "I hope so. We'll find out this week." AJ stated with a grin. He had some fear in him that Xanda would fall for John the moment she saw him again but at the same time he knew that after all the pain John had caused, she would be out of her mind to take interest in him at all. AJ still could not figure out why Xanda had not killed the man after what he caused. The images of Xanda crying herself to sleep in AJ's arms after she had told him about what had happened the year before was too much for AJ. He stood up and quickly left the studio leaving Howie and Nick silent and Brian amused.

"So we have two less Backstreet Boys than when we we got in the studio ten minutes ago." The DJ said to their radio audience. Howie and Nick laughed it off. "Kevin had to make a quick phone call and AJ went to the bathroom." Howie explained. Brian smirked which caused the DJ to look in his direction. "It seems Mr. Brok knows somethin' we don't. What's up, Brian?" The DJ asked. "Nothin's up, man. It just seems, ya know, that every time we come to visit you, half of us end up outside somewhere." Brian said as she tried to cover up his slip. "Yeah, last time D got stuck in the elevator!" Nick laughed. "Hey man, that's not funny! You try being stuck in an elevator..." "With ten hysterical fans!" Nick and Brian finished for Howie as they cracked up. "Okay guys! We're gonna take a few phone calls if that's all right with you." "Sure!" Brian answered while Nick and Howie nodded their heads. "All right, we got Kelsey on the phone." The DJ told the guys. "Hey Kelsey!" Howie said. "Hi Kelsey!" Brian and Nick replied together. "Ohmigod! I can't believe I'm talking to you guys!" Kelsey shouted. Brian shifted in his seat. After almost ten years of being around fans, he still could not get over the fact that most of them treated the guys like gods. "I love you sooo much, Nick!!" She added which caused teasing from Howie and Brian. "Thank you." Nick replied with a shrug in Brian's direction. "Okay, do you have a question for the guys?" The DJ asked. "Yeah, who has girlfriends?" She asked just as AJ came back in. "I'm kinda taken." Howie said quietly. "Yeah, Howie never likes to admit when he's taken. When he gets married he'll barely be gettin' used to admitting that he has a girlfriend." AJ teased. "Hey everyone! AJ finally made it." The DJ announced causing Nick, Brian, and Howie to jokingly cheer. "Okay, who else?" The DJ asked the guys. "Nick does!" Brian shouted. "Do not!" Nick shouted back. "Do too!" Brian shouted again. "Do not!" Nick shouted back. "Oh man, this could go on all night." AJ moaned. "Okay, Nick's in between relationships right now." Howie offered in explanation. "Yeah, that's it." Nick agreed. "Brian's free, though!" Nick added causing Brian to grimace and groan. "Let's leave my love life out of this." Brian stated with a smirk. "Or lack there of..." Nick sang out. Brian and AJ smacked Nick on the back of the head while the DJ cracked up laughing as he desperately tried to catch his breath so he could explain to the listeners what was happening. "Okay, okay...what about Kevin since he's not here to defend himself?" The DJ asked. "Eh, Kevin? He's really private about that sort of thing so we can't say if he is or isn't in a relationship right now. You're gonna have to ask him when he gets back." Brian stated.

"Okay, next question!" AJ stated as he rubbed his hands together in anticipation. "No, not next question. We're not done with this one...AJ?" Nick stated with a smirk. "Yeah, yeah. I'm taken by the perfect girl...next question?" AJ asked while trying not to touch the subject of his relationship with Xanda. Brian was taking a sip of his Pepsi when he started to choke after AJ replied to the question. "Perfect girl?" Brian choked in a whisper. AJ covered up the microphone and glared in his direction. "If you have somethin' to say about her Bri, then say it to my face, but say it off the air or I swear I will..." "Guys!" Howie shouted causing AJ to quiet down. "Brian, take it off the air." Howie advised. "Yeah man, we've been havin' enough problems with you two. The public doesn't need to know, too!" Nick stated without covering his microphone. "Nick!" Howie shouted pointing to the on air sign. "Damn." Nick mumbled. AJ and Brian continued to bicker with their hands covering their microphones. Howie tossed his hands up and glanced at the DJ hoping they would cut to commercials. "AJ! SHUT UP!" Xanda shouted as she stormed into the studio after catching the beginning of their argument downstairs in the lobby of the radio station. "Oh look! It's the 'perfect girl!'" Brian sang out as if he were singing 'The Perfect Fan.' AJ lunged at Brian but was caught by Xanda and Nick. AJ glared at Brian who was busy glaring at Xanda. "Thanks for not making the situation worse, Brian." Xanda said in a flat voice as she ordered AJ out of the studio.
