Rules for Making Characters:

Basically, when creating a character or "Hero",  the limits are endless.  We all trust each other to do the right thing and not make a character too overly powerful.  If a member or members of Legends of the Chosen feels that a character is over or under powerful, then we will all look over the character and come to a median.  We are here to have fun.  Here are the basic guidelines for making your character.

-All characters have four stat categories.  Strength, Defense, Body, and Mind.  Strength is the raw attack power of a character.  For each strength, a dice is rolled when attacking.  Defense is the raw defense of a character.  For each defense a dice is rolled when defending.  Body is the HP or Hit Points of a character.  When Body reaches 0 the character is dead.  (a potion may be used just before death if one is owned)  Mind is the mind power of a character.  For each mind point a dice is rolled when attempting to block or break a spell.   Each character is given 12 stat points to distribute amongst those 4 stat categories.  No one stat category may exceed 11 points.  Characters also get a set movement.  This is how many spaces a character may move on his turn.  This is decided by the character creator

-All characters may start with 2 items.  Whether it be a helmet, sword, bow, armor, etc.  Traditionally, a starting item will be around +1 or +2 to its appropriate stat category.  I.E.  Broad sword adds +2 to Strength.  Items are for sale at the "shop".  You may buy items at the beginning of a quest.  The Dungeon Master may allow for other buy spots if he/she so chooses.

-Each character gets 1 Natural Ability and up to 5 Skills.  Characters start with their Natural Ability.  I.E.  A Dragon Lord, whom transforms into dragons, Natural Ability would be to "Transform"  Traditionally, Natural Abilities have infinate uses per quest.  Skills are abilities that a character posses within and must be learned by "purchasing" them with exp points gained from monsters.  Most Skills are limited to the amount of times they may be used per quest, due to the sheer power that most Skills posses.  Skills and Natural  Abilities are up to the imagination of the character creator.  Have fun :)
