Lately the last few days have been oriented all around time. From running the mile, the two mile, to taking a timed AP writing test. I think that covers the spectrum of both the scholar and the athlete. That makes me a scholar's athlete! There are a few things in my life about this timed schedule that have been stressful, but at the same time, I feel really good right now. Awhile ago however, I was rather angry, rather bothered - I suppose in a bit of mental distress. Merlin is very good at listening, and I feel like since I can relate to him so much I can tell him some of the things that bother me. Since we know the same basic crowds, we have a good system worked out. I wish I could just push a little button and then all my thoughts and stress could be transfered from here to the computer, but sadly that little button doesn't exist. Instead it's fifty or so different buttons that I have press to communicate and to express, all of which takes time. Right now, I don't have that time - I have to go to open house, but I wanted to at least tell everyone what my current state of life is like. We get the results for the election either tonight or tomorrow night, so I'm looking forward to hearing what my future holds for me. I won't be disappointed if I don't win - with power comes responsibility, and responsibility requires time. If I do win, I will accept it with open arms, and I'll do my best to fix the issues that are pending in my mind. For example, the Golden State Exams being cancelled for this year infuriates me - especially since it reduces my possibility of getting a scholarship. I am going to write a letter to Gray Davis, Diane Finestein, Barbara Boxer, and my other representatives, and let them know my opinons as well as my resolutions. One of my resolutions is an entrance fee to pay for the exams, so that some of the students pave the way for the other students who actually achieve and earn scholarships. Speaking of time, I don't have time to write. I'll elaborate when this election process is over. Take care my friends.
