Entry One-Hundred Seventy-Five

An Arrival

Here we are in Carpenteria. The drive yesterday took from 2:00 P.M. until about 10:00. It was nice that we left late - it gave me a chance to have a slow and relaxing packing period rather than a rushed one. My dad was moving rather slow, my mom was rather frantic, and I was existing lazily.

I made myself an awesome sandwich yesterday before we left . . . it's probably one of the best I've ever made . . . or it was at least (grin). So, anyway, we took off, I listened to music and thought about things. IT wasn't very relaxing though - not with my mind so active. Merlin and I had stayed up playing video games late last night, and then Jennah and Hallie were talking with us on AOL. It was a really fun night, but it left me very tired. During the ride I drifted in and out of sleep, listening to swing music - old stuff like "You Give Me Fever" and Henry Mancini's "Pink Panther". With my mind as active as it is, I let it drift off, be creative, think of everything from the plot of what could be an amazing short story to time I would enjoy spending with Liz. I wonder what she's doing now? With my ability to see things in a pessimistic light, I would think that I haven't been very active in her mind, but regardless I've thought of her quite a bit. My optimism sees a really cool, awesomely romantic future. The whole idea of a teenage drama based around a love life would be so successful! I'll talk more about all this later - it's breakfast time! More details about yesterday sometime today --

--Later that day--

Wow! Breakfast was great! First though - dinner last night we went to the Apple Farm - we ate good food, but when I wasn't paying attention the waiter came by and took the french fries and pickles that I was eating! What a bum! My parents still tipped him high.

We talked more in the car. My dad and I argued a bit. Sometimes he says comments worse than that of an immature teenager, or tries to act very superior, and that frustrates me. I won't get into talking about the argument, it would be a waste of time.

We arrived here at Scott and Roseline's (and Daryanna's) house, our cousins and their 3 year 8 month daughter (full of explosive energy) around 10:30. We talked, then I slept semi-comfortably on the couch. Now that I'm risen and it's morning, I woke up to a little girl running by, looking at me, and then running to her "mommy."

By the way, last night, David and Cirkl's son Lucus greeted me at swing dancing with, "Hello sexy Wizard!" He's calm, and around 8 or 9 years old. It was extremely cute. I was really on last night at dancing . . . Lanie, Amy, and Amanda all told me that I was dancing well. I think my favorite song all night was the Pink Panther though, I've learned how to do "musicality" to different songs, which has allowed my level of dance performance to dramatically improve. It's a ton of fun, and I love it.

Daryanna has so much energy, it's amazing. It's not annoying quite yet though. Plans so far today include going to Ventura, going to the beach, and me running all over! Whoo hoo!

I'm still thinking about the fun I had swing dancing and running. It was totally awesome!

Take care my friends.
