I'm feeling great right now! I haven't felt so good in a long time. It's as though all my problems go to sleep as soon as I get a chance to write about them. I wasn't feeling so great yesterday, but Liz and I talked for around an hour and thirty minutes, and I laughed quite a bit during the whole conversation, and the saying really is true: laughter makes a person feel a lot better. I'm coming down with a bit of a cold though, so physically I'm not in the best of shape. Regardless though, I ran some very quick laps today. I went around at 1:16, 1:18, 1:16, 1:06, 1:16. I was very impressed with myself, especially with the 1:06. If I could keep that up in a meet I would be competing with Jon and Kevin in third or fourth place, hehe. There's a track meet tomorrow, but sadly I can't go to it. It's Passover! Time to be a matzah eating fiend! I tried to call Liz but there was no answer. I left a message. I really think she's a cool girl, and hope things flow smoothly. It seems like we never have a chance to really be together during the week though, which is a real bummer. She told me last night though that she might be getting a job working in the band room at El Molino because of her crazy vocal talents. That made me pretty happy, considering I have two classes directly next door to the band room during the time that she'd most likely be there. Man, that'd be cool . . . Either way, I like her, but I have trouble telling her that sometimes I think. Maybe it's the awkwardness of just stepping into a relationship. If that's what you want to call it . . . a relationship. She still hasn't really clarified in my mind what I'm supposed to be feeling, so I'm trying to stay numb so I don't really hurt myself badly. I do like her though, I can tell that already. I've been having a great time talking to Jennah's friend Halley. We joke around a lot. Halley doesn't go to El Molino though - coincidentally Halley is Merlin's friend Travis's sister. I knew Travis last year a lot better than I know him this year because we played Starcraft and Diablo together occasionally. He seemed like a nice guy. His sister and I are going to go Salsa dancing together one of these nights because she is supposedly extremely talented at it, and I want to learn. I haven't had a lot to write about lately because I haven't had to the time to really sit down and write. The exception was the Friday/Saturday night summary. Basically, the last few days have been me running in circles and being physically tired. I've been talking to Liz on the phone until about 10:30 each night, which is a bit late for me really since I wake up so early in the morning, but I don't mind talking to her at all. My mom and/or Dad has(have) gotten into the habit of being noisy too early in the morning, which is unusual. They don't seem to understand how much sleep a growing teenage boy requires, and cutting it even 15-30 minutes short by clanging a pan in the morning disturbs the delicate balance of my sanctuary. After school today I tutored for one hour, but I tutored three students, and because I tutored three students and not just one during the duration of one hour, I was given credit for three hours of student tutoring. It was pretty awesome, because I ended up getting $24 for one hour of tutoring, then jogging down to track and sprinting around in those 400m circles. Merlin and I are kicking some serious Starcraft arse. We're hardcore. I've had a bunch of people at El Molino request to join, and I told them our invitation policy and they said they'd log online sometime soon and check it out. Basically - keeping up on school work, keeping up on teenage necessities, working out relationships, and running around in circles. Take care my friends! Back
