Entry One-Hundred Sixteen

Infirmity Strike

I was finally able to put together why it is I've been feeling slow lately. I've been verging on some sort of sickness for the past week, at least. It hit me today, when I got home. At first, I felt a bit dizzy while standing in front of the heater. Then I felt very, very warm. I took off my jeans and hopped into bed. I awoke when my mom came home - I awoke with a horrible pain throughout my back. It seems as though I've been infected by some sort of disgusting virus, in which the little villains inside me have constructed a base of sorts right in the center of my spine. It's excruciatingly painful.

I'm hoping to get better by Saturday, however I don't think I'll be so lucky.

I need to be better for Monday. It's the first day of Track.

It feels odd being sick . . . it's not something I experience frequently. It seems as though the last few years I have been more suceptible to sickness though - perhaps because I was practically immune to colds as a child.

I'll keep you all updated on my sickness. Instead of working at typing up an entry for tomorrow, I'm just going to type up Tales of Serendipity, as promised.

I must take a Chemistry, Spanish, and English test tomorrow.

Today I met a really cool foreign exchange student from Spain. Not only am I learning how to use the "vosotros" form in Spanish better, but I'm also able to be blessed by the company of una guapa chica ;).

I want to go swing dancing, but I won't be able to - if you come over you're submitting yourself to being spun in circles.
