The purview of Tova Haaretz is quite limited. As a result, the following groups of people should not join:

  • Non-Jews (you are likely to feel like an outsider)
  • Israel bashers
  • Those who believe that the media is right
  • Those who merely want to forward items from other sources
  • Those who have no constructive ideas or comments
  • Those who present lashon hara or who badmouth others

Don't leave out the fuddy-duddies

  • Those who want straight, unbiased answers. We're biased
  • Those who don't like prejudiced comments. We're prejudiced
  • Offensive people. We're friendly

Let's not leave out the fighters

  • Those who want to look seriously at serious topics
    • We see issues through rose-colored glasses
    • (The official, bad-news line is on Israeli Politics)
  • Those who need to discuss negative issues about Israel
  • Those who only want to complain
  • Those with an agenda
    • Of course, we also have an agenda
    • However, our agenda matches the topics of Tova Haaretz
