| Chapter One "Wake UP!" exclaimed Gwen Lafayette my friend from college. "What do you want Gwen?" I shouted back. "Some guys are moving in next door. Really fine guys." "Really what side?" I asked not caring that she had woken me. "On both sides!" she screamed in reply. I got up and headed towards Christi's room. Surprised to see her up , I asked "What are you doing up this early?" "Oh, just felt like getting up early that's all." she replied as she fixed her dark lucious strand of hair in the mirror. "Did you see the guys?" blurted out Gwen. "Guys?" she asked. "Where, show me!" Gwen led the way as we ran downstairs singing, "Show me the guys?" over and over again. ~Pause~ Okay I know, i know no one in the world should be that excited about a few, guys moving in next. The truth is that all three of us have been absolutely single for the last month, and we are really needy girls. ~Play~ The doorbell rang, so we ran faster and we stopped singing. Gwen opened the door and me and Christi fell flat on our faces. "Umm.... Hi, don't worry it's just an early morning ritual." I said, quickly rising to my feet straitining my pink striped pajamas "Hi, I'm Brian." said the guys with the dirty blonde hair. "I'm Nick and this is A.J." continued the tall guy with the golden blonde hair and crisp blue eyes he was pointing to this guy that had black hair and sunglasses on. "I'll be living next door in the with a friend named Kevin, but he won't be here until September." Brian explained, a little embarrassed afterwards. "Same thing for Howie. That's our roommate and will be living on the other side of ya we just wanted to meet people that kept us from getting the houses right next to each other." finished Nick. There was a moment of silence as if they were waiting for something to happen. "Well, it's nice meeting you gals." A.J. said after the long moment of silence. "I guess we'll see you later ." said Nick. "Okay, later," replied Christi closing the door. "Okay, let's handle this like mature young ladies." I said as we leaned against the closed door. "AHHH!" we all screamed . "Did you see Nick? He's so cute, and his eyes." said Christi. "I like A.J. he's looks like my type of guys sweet, but bad when I want him to be!" replied Gwen. "Ooo...Gwen now you know you wrong." I cooed then something in my mind Clicked. I gasped. "Oh, my gosh! We forgot to introduce ourselves! Oh, how could we forget." I ran up stairs to get my jeans. I was putting them on as I hopped over to the bathroom to get a hair clip, and tripped over Gwen's roller blades. "Gwen!!!" I yelled "get your roller blades!" We headed out side after I recovered from the fall. Brian was outside getting a box out of the light blue pick-up truck that was in the drive way. "Oh, I guess it's later." Brian laughed. "Sorry....Umm we just realized that we forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm Alexis." I said reaching out to shake his hand. "Alexis... that's a pretty name." he said, his eyes were locked on mine. "I'm Gwen." she declared breaking the concentration we had on each other. "And I'm Christi!" she finished. "I thought you lived on the right." she said confused. "Oh, I'm over here helping them unload the truck since I'm already done unpacking my stuff," he explained. "We were just about to go to my place for brunch. Would you girls like to join us?" He asked. I looked at Gwen and Christi looking for their approval then said, "Yes, We'd love to." |
