*They will be on Jay Leno this month

* they also won the “Best New Artists in a Video” in the Total Request Quick Picks and TUMH was #19 on the top Total Request Summer countdown and IWYB was #6!!

*last Sat. on Z100's Hottie of the Week show JC won first place. vote to make JC "hottie of the week" for another week at [email protected]

* for all people whose computers can play Macintosh sounds, check out 'N Sync music sounds!!!  Go to Keyword: Mac Music, and then go to the software library and look under Popular Music 90's.  there are two clips, "I Want You Back" and "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You".

* Denniz Pop (producer/writer for cool songs like TUMH, IWYB and Brit's "Baby One More Time")  died at age 35 of cancer.  He will be sadly missed and the world won't be the same without Denniz Pop and Max Martin

*Joey is featured at the end of the October issue of Teen People.  It's a question on the MTV Music Video Awards.  "If you could pick MTV's Video Of The Year you would give the Moon Man statuette to....?"   Joey Fatone ('N Sync): "Robyn's 'Show Me Love'.  It's like a Calvin Klein commercial.  They have all the people standing there talking and messing around.  It's kind of cool.  And she's pretty cute."

*there is also a little interview thing about the guys in the new Fox Kids magazine

"Usher will no longer open for Janet after the October 11th show in New York. He will be replaced by the group 'N Sync for the rest of the American tour which will now end on October 30 in Houston, Texas. 'N Sync may also open for Janet in Australia in December."

* In  Tower Records in Nashville someone spotted  A 12 inch vinyl copy of the single for I Want You Back..  It even has a version of the song on it that the CD single doesn't have

* Here are the details on the upcoming Christmas album:  It's called "Home For Christmas" and features 12 tracks. four are traditional songs and eight are original new songs. check it out!

 The tracklisting goes as follows:
1)  "The First Noel"
2)  "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting...)"
3)  "This Christmas"
4)  "O Holy Night"
5)  "I Never Knew The Meaning of Christmas"

*N Sync is scheduled to appear on several Christmas variety specials such as "Kathie Lee  Christmas" and "Disney Christmas".

*this fall and winter they are also scheduled for The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno, Rosie O'Donnell, Ricki Lake again, The View, Good Morning America and several others.

* They will be featured as cover stories in Bop and Teen Beat. They'll also appear in Teen People, YM and Tiger Beat.

*An official video tape (with footage from the Dallas 6 Flags show) and an official autobiography of 'N Sync will be out in October

*Word is that *N SYNC will be on The View sometime in October, that they are taping a show for Artist Cut (MTV)

* they're Number THREE on Billboard selling 67613.. rumor has it that they've already gone DOUBLE Platinum, here and QUADRUPLE Platinum in Canada but I can't find any proof of this... WAY TO GO GUYS!!!!!!

* in Zia Records, a used CD store in Phoenix, Dana  found (for $1.99) a heart shaped CD of "Tearin Up My Heart" single. It has seven tracks (Beat back radio edit, Original Version, Riprock and Alex G's Heart & Key Edit, Riprock & Alex G's smooth edit, JJ Flores' main level edit, Suggested callout hook #1 and Suggested callout hook #2). The strange thing is that this wasn't the import from overseas. It is copyright 1998 and all the writing is in English. But it's a promotional copy, because it says "Not for sale" in small print on the back.

* An N SYNC calendar  is now available in Sam Goody

*Geefen Records will be releasing a soundtrack for the show "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" on Oct. 27 and it will include songs from *N SYNC, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls and many others.

*It's TRUE *N SYNC have gone DOUBLE platinum (+ 2 mil copies sold) in the US and QUADRUPLE Platinum (+4 mil) in Canada!!!

*after *N Sync finish their tour with Janet Jackson, they'll be joined by none other than our own... BRITNEY SPEARS!!!!

*N SYNC are going to be on TGIF ( ABC) ..hosting the seasons premiers this month. (Friday Sept. 25th)

*N SYNC were on MTV's Artist Cut on 09-15 (Tuesday) . Justin said about the bed part :, "this is my 15 year old sex scene..there was a girl there, but they cut her out...you know with all that computer animation..they thought it was too provocative." it repeated Friday afternoon as well

*They were ALSO on Say What later that night! and eye spy video this past week.

*N SYNC will be on The View (ABC)  on September 28th!

*on 'N Sync's official web page they're doing a survey to vote for which song should be 'N Sync's next single.  It's between For The Girl Who Has Everything and God Must Have... Right now God Must Have is the top choice.  Also in the near near future there will be a VIP section to their web page with FREE membership.

*Here we Go is played on the commercials for the Miss America pageant!!! AND during TGIF they aired the commercials for the Live TGIF premiere party next week. I tried to tape it but my dumb VCR shut off! <GRR> but basically it shows the BMW stars and then something about the hot new band *N SYNC (clip of the IWYB vid) and then the guys said something  like "We'll be here living hosting TGIF

*ANOTHER commercial: for those of you in the DC area: there is a clip of the TUMH video on a commercial for z104

*There's a contest on the Cybervenue website, where you can win 'N SYNC merchandise such as a CD, Calendar, T-Shirt, or interactive CD-ROM. It's free, but when you enter the contest you're also registered to win BSB, CNote, Take 5, LFO, or 'N SYNC merchandise.

*They're going to be on a Macy's parade float on Thanksgiving!
 

*N SYNC will be live in the NY studio of MTV, on  Monday the 28th  to help Carson count down the videos for TOTAL REQUEST.  For those who live near the Studio or in the NY area, if you go to the studio and hang out in front they may pick you to hang out with the guys during the show.  You can also call in to ask the guys questions during 3:30-4:30 PM EST and on the repeat at 9-10 PM...there's also this contest all week on TRL to give passes for people to hang out with them. The people are on the street in Times Square...and they vote for whatever reason why *N SYNC is the video they want to see...someone calls in and picks the group they want *N SYNC to meet.

*On the Bravo AOL section, there's an article on N SYNC, and it mentions their new single "You Drive Me Crazy", the picture that accompanies the article is from the video. and also it says the release date for the single in Germany/Europe is 9.11 (which is probably November 9, 'cause Sept. 11 has already passed).  It also has dates for their appearances on German TV, as well as a note saying they'll be touring Europe in January of 1999. Also, there are new dates on 'N Sync's official webpage.

*There is a little *N SYNC quiz in a pop music quiz book. It has a picture of Hanson on the cover and lil pix of BSB, No Doubt,  Spice girls in the corner.

*N Sync's new Euro single :You Drive Me Crazy has hit the airwaves in Germany

*on 'N Sync's official site you can see new pics.  They've got ones from OBT, Florida Mall, and AOL Chat

*If you're interested in getting a 1999 'N Sync calendar, but can't find one in your area, go to the Tiger Beat Merchandise Site at http://www.nextlevel.com/tigerbeat/merchant.htm. The 'N Sync one is $12.99 + $3.00 P & H (for US Residents).

*Thursday was *N Sync's fifth straight day at #1 and Carson mentioned that that breaks the record for the countdown.

*the new issue of BB has *N SYNC on the cover, an article about their first kisses, a pinup of the group, a centerfold of Justin and a group centerfold. It also has a little pic of Justin on the back and it talks about what type of clothes he likes to wear. the pinup is one they already published in Bop:   *N SYNC in red jackets, the centerfold is the one with JC in the middle in a blue windbreaker. The Justin pic is one of him in a blue and white Adidas shirt. In the same issue is a pinup of Lance and a little pic of them at Z day and a blurb about Justin in the Rhythm and News section. There is also a pic of Justin and Bop staff member Kristin in the "Just between Friends" section and it talks about how Chris got his braces off.

*In the November issue of Teen People there is an EXCLUSIVE interview with *N SYNC and some pictures of them dancing around outside in Orlando.

* the latest issue of the German magazine BRAVO  there are pictures in it of *N Sync's new video for "You drive me crazy".  the concept is that **N SYNC are a beginning pop group and try to get a record deal. But they don't go to the auditions as themselves, no, check this out! First they go as the Jackson 5! With afro hair and 70ies clothes and all! Then they go as gangster rappers! Then they go as Guns 'n Roses! And last but not least they go as the Spice Girls!!!!! Justin is Mel C (sporty), J.C. is Victoria (posh), Chris is Mel B (scary), Joey is Geri (ginger) and Lance  is Emma (baby).

*They fell two notches on the billboard chart to #5 due to the release of new albums  by Hootie and the Blowfish and Marilyn Manson.

*N SYNC were on TGIF on Friday. They didn't "host" it. The stars of TGIF hosted it and it was very hard to see the guys the few times they showed them. They sang parts of IWYB and TUMH about 5 times  and the only time the camera really showed them was when they were dancing with Mary Kate and Ashley.

*There is a three page spread on *N SYNC in the latest issue of Girl's Life magazine.

*Teen People's survey votes are in: *N Sync came in 2nd to Sailor Moon who managed to get 46.54% of the votes as compared to 'N Sync who got 32.19%. *N Sync will  still be featured on the cover of an upcoming issue of Teen People.

*At the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade  *N Sync will be performing a song or two on a M&M float.
