Biografie
Geboren am 4. Juni 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri. Jazz-Komponist, -Arrangeur und -Dirigent. Alt- und Tenorsaxofon. Bekannt durch Zusammenarbeit mit Jimmie Smith, Thelonious Monk und Nancy Wilson, James Brown und Diana Ross. Zahlreiche Filmmusiken für Hollywood und Fernsehen: Ironside, Night Gallery, The Six Million Dollar Man und Longstreet. Er starb am 27.10. 1975 in Los Angeles.
