You walk into a clearing in the middle of the camp between the many rows of tents and see Ling, Yao, and Chien-Po already there along with another soldier you don't recognize. Ling sees you first and calls, "Hey! Come over and join us!" You grin and head over that way. As you join their group, Chien-Po pats you on the back, nearly knocking you over and says, "Greetings friend!" before nudging Yao who mutters something that doesn't sound much like a greeting to you. Ling snickers at Yao's comment (whatever it was!) before grabbing the fourth soldier by the shoulders and pushing him forward. Grinning, Ling introduces him, "This is our other new friend, Ping, the one who climbed the pole!" Ping, looking rather uncomfortable under Ling's touch and the other's eyes stutters in an odd sounding voice, "Uh, hey! Um, nice to meet you! Yeah..." You return the greeting while trying to figure out what seems strange about Ping. You don't get to wonder for long though since the other three grab you by the arms and take you to show you around.

By the time you are done looking around the camp, night has fallen. The guys turn to you and say, "We're going to go down to the lake to take a bath with the rest of the recuits, wanna come?!" You raise your eyebrows worriedly at them before saying, "Heh, thanks for the offer, but no." The three shrug and Yao mutters, "Suit yourself! You're probably just afraid of me, Yao, King of the Rock!" The others laugh at Yao's comment and then Ling grabs Ping's arm, "You're coming aren't you Ping?". You see his eyes widen, "Um... no thanks guys!" He stutters while trying to pry Ling's fingers off his arm, "I think I'll just... go back to my tent now!" The three give Ping a dull look, "You're no fun at all you know!" Ling says to Ping who just shrugs and backs up a few more steps. Without another word, the three turn and race in the direction of the lake. You shake your head, say good evening to Ping who is shaking his head at the guy's antics as well, and head back to your tent.
