Part 3: Who is That?
" It is sooo hot," complained Kento.
"Oh Kento Shut up, we know!" Exclaimed an irritable Ryo. It was the second day off the Ronin's week-long vacation, and the temperatures had climbed up from mild to excrutiatingly hot.
"Come on guys, let's go swimming!" exclaimed Sai.
"It's too hot," whined Kento.
"Come on the water is probably cool. Come on!"Said Sai.
"Cool..."Grumbled Sage."I'm for taking a swim."
"O.k. I guess I'll go too"said Kento.
"Anything too cool us off said Rowen.
"Kay I'm going..."Said ryo. The heat wasn't really bugging him as much but a swim did sound good.
"Cool! Now every one go get your suits on and I'll meet you at the lake!"Said Sai.
"What about your suit? Asked Rowen
"It's under my clothes already"
"Cheater"Said Sage going to get his Swimming trunks.
Sai laughed and went out the door through the porch and practicaly ran to the lake and dove in.
Soon the other guys joined him and they had a mash of tag and volleyball going on in the water when suddenly Sage stopped.
"Sage!" Said Kento throwing the ball at him. The ball bounced off Sage's head.
"Earth to Sage....Come in Sage"Joked Ryo.
Sage pointed to the bank where Ryo looked and thought he saw someone, but then....nothing.
"What are you guys gawking at?"Inquired Sai.
"Yeah Sage you look like someone just told you that you've run out of styling gel"Laughed Kento.
"It was like a figure. It came filled a jug with water and..........dissappeared" Said Sage.
"I didn't see any water jug" said Ryo "but someone was there."
"And today on sightings of the dead and water-less..." Joked Rowen, but his joke was stressed."Are there any other cabins?"
"Not for 50 or 60 miles. This is the middle of no-where who else would be here?"Said Ryo.
"Maybe it was a deer"suggested Kento.
"Yeah..."Said Sage.
"Well I'm cooled off let's go eat"Said Sai. Everyone looked at him.
"What is Kento the only one aloud to have an appetite?" Glared Sai.
"Yeah Food!"Said Kento.
So they swam back to shore and while Sai prepared dinner Ryo checked in with Mia.
"Hey guys I was wondering if you'd stay up there for another week "said Mia.
"Why?"Asked Ryo.
"I got an ivitation to go to a historic convention about ancient legendary artifacts, but it's next week and I just don't know what you guys would do here without me."Stated Mia sweetly.
"Um, sure I'll tell the guys that the vacation has been extended"
"Thank you, Ryo"Said Mia.
Just then Sai yelled"Kento is gonna eat yer din-din if you don't haul it"
"Oh Mia gotta go .......yep....bye" Said Ryo and then joined his friends for dinner. Over dinner Ryo told the others about the vacation being extended. The news was met with cheers until Rowen said"Why won't Mia trust us at her house?"
"Remember what happened last time she left us alone?'Asked Sage.
"I told her I was sorry about the wall"Said Kento. He and Sage had started arguing and Kento tried to tackle Sage, but Sage avoided the attack. The result was a major kento-sized dent in the wall. Well maybe we'll find out who that was thought Sage.
