Part 4: Appearences in the Moonlight
The Ronins had been on there vacation for 3 whole days and they were enjoying every minute of it. "Sai, when is dinner?" Asked Kento.
"It is still in an hour"sighed Sai.
"Give it up" said Rowen.
"Sai what's for dinner?"Asked Kento.
"We are STILL having chiken and potatoes"Grumbled Sai.
"oh" Said Kento
Just then Ryo walked in and said"Hey Sai whens dinner?"
"In an hour" said Sai
"What're we hav'n?"Asked Ryo
"CHICKEN "N POTATOES" said sai seething with anger. Rowen just about fell out of his chair laughing.
"Umm guys maybe we should leave Sai alone for a while" Suggusted Kento Indeed Sai looked like he was about to explode in furrious attacks.
"Umm yeah"agreed Ryo and they beast a hasty retreat.
"Well watcha wanna do?"asked Kento
"mmmhm"Said Rowen who was engrossed in a paperback.
"You're it!"Said kento lashing out and tagging Sage.
"Nope"Said Sage as he tagged Rowan.
And the childish game went from there and by the time they returned Saihad forgotten all about it and Dinner was done.So they all pigged out on chicken and potatoes. After dinner they were all stuffed silly but no one was quite ready to sleep.
"Hey lets go out for a late hike"Suggusted Kento.
"Not far though, it's almost dark"Said Sai.
So they all pulled on their shoes and started a winding trail that led away from the lake.
Just as the moon started to come up Sage suggested they turn around.
"okay"said Ryo"We don't want to be caught out here all night"
"Yeah"Agreed Rowan.
Half way back to the cabin Rowan thaoght he saw something and motioned the others behind a tree. Someone was comming down the path whistling. Kento peeked out out hiding and saw that a figure in the distace had stopped completely, then the figure jumped and grabed a tree branch and was then gone.
"Did you see that?"Kento asked.
"Yeah" replied the others.
"Next time it comes lets follow it" Kento whispered.
The Ronins cautiosly walked to the cabin but the rest of the hike was uneventful.
