The Pilot

    Exploited as a child, a genius assumes various identities to help others while eluding his brutal stalkers. Taking the identity of a doctor, Jarod learns the truth about a paralyzed boy, whose spinal cord was severed during an operation. Meanwhile, Jarod seeks information about himself and his parents from Sydney, while trying to avoid Miss Parker.


Every Picture Tells a Story

    Posing as a lieutenant in the Coast Guard, Jarod exposes two rogue officers who caused a fisherman's death during their smuggling operation. Meanwhile, one of Jarod's DSAs holds the key to Miss Parker learning what really happened to her mother.


Flyer

    Jarod becomes a test pilot to prove a top-gun pilot's crash was caused by a defense contractor's new computer system. The action literally soars as Jarod poses as a test pilot. Jarod's mood takes off with the thrill of flight, but soon descends when he uncovers the shady circumstances surrounding the death of a flier whose widow and son were left without a pension. At first the crash victim is blamed: a special-projects officer cites a blackout caused by a night of drinking. But Jarod learns that the man spent his final evening stargazing in the desert with his son. Meanwhile, Jarod finds a DSA recording of the mysterious Mr. Rains, who appears to have information about his past.


Curious Jarod

    Working as a Las Vegas casino security expert, Jarod investistigates an assault on a showgirl which left her in an irreversable coma. Meanwhile, Jarods concludes that Curious George's' Man in the Yellow Hat is Sydney.


The Paper Clock

    Jarod becomes a lawyer for a slow-witted man wrongly accused of murder, enlisting the aid of a transvestite cab driver along the way. Jarod negotiates with Sydney for information from The Centre's records about his family. Miss Parker tries to prevent the trade.


To Serve and Protect

    Acting as a crooked cop in Miami, Jarod clears the name of a security guard framed for robbing a jewelry store by rogue cops moonlighting as jewel thieves. Meanwhile, Jarod enlists the aid of a 'Family Finder' to locate his mother, while setting up Miss Parker for a visit to jail.


A Virus Among Us

    At a disease research center in Illinois, Jarod poses as virologist a searches for a missing researcher who threatened to expose a doctor's dangerous experiments. Sydney has a crisis of conscience while Miss Parker has close encounters with Jarod's tricks and Mr. Rains.


Not Even a Mouse

    As Jarod savors his first real Christmas, he signs on as a medical examiner in Baltimore. He identifies a Jane Doe and investigates the mysterious death of a homeless man who used to help runaway children celebrate the holiday at a city shelter. While Jarod suspects that one of his colleagues accidentally ran over the victim and drove away, he also attempts to put the merry back in Christmas for the abandoned shelter kids. Meawhile, Sydney visits his brother and Miss Parker deals with her holiday plans.


Mirage

    Acting as an instructor at a skydiving school in Texas, Jarod uncovers the truth behind the survivalist co-owner's fatal skydiving accident. Jarod gives Miss Parker a birthday gift -- clues that lead to a mansion in Maine her mother used to frequent -- that offers insights into her mother's life.


The Better Part of Valor

    Posing as a firefighter Pittsburgh, Jarod uncovers the truth behind the arson death of another firefighter who was in fact murdered by a corrupt battalion captain. Meanwhile, Mr. Raines assigns a savant named Angelo to the Cetre's hunt for Jarod. Miss Parker's old flame has motives of his own.


Potato Head Blues

    Jarod infiltrates Detroit a bomb squad to investigate a glory seeker known as the "fax bomber" who may be responsible for a series of blasts. Jarod also helps a photographer blinded in one of the blasts to take control of her life. Suspecting an information leak at The Centre, and Mr. Rains uses Angelo -- another Centre genious -- to search for its source.


Prison Story

    Jarod works as a prison guard on death row in order to help free a man who was falsely locked away, thanks to interference by corrupt and dangerous guards. Meanwhile, Miss Parker blames her ill health on her relentless pursuit of Jarod.


Bazooka Jarod

    A fellow officer is suspicious of Navy man Jarod's probe into the accidental death of a ship's engineer. Meanwhile, following another clue from Jarod, Miss Parker tries to find out more about her late mother at a Delaware orphanage.


Ranger Jarod

    Posing as a forest ranger in Oregon's high mountains, Jarod begins a stint as a search-and-rescue volunteer to find a young camper, an ornithology student lost in the mountains. When he is paired with a beautiful partner, he savors the emotions of love for the first time in his sheltered life. After they share a romantic night together, Jarod discovers that the "lost" student actually might be hiding after witnessing a drug-related murder.


Jaroldo!

    While posing as a TV-news cameraman, Jarod probes a reporter's orchestration of a gang shootout that left his predecessor incapacitated. Meanwhile, Miss Parker and Sydney run afoul of drug addicts in an abandoned warehouse.


Under the Reds

    Jarod suspects a medic induced the coma of a graduate student, and the parents must decide about life support.


Keys

    Miss Parker finally catches up with Jarod in the Florida Keys. A safe-deposit box key Jarod leaves Miss Parker yields surprising revelations, as she finds photos inside showing her mother badly beaten months before her apparent suicide. And when she confronts her father, he responds that "I killed her. At least that's what I torture myself believing." Meanwhile, Miss Parker's mission of catching Jarod in Florida and returning him to the Centre is blocked by a series of obstacles. Among them: a hurricane; an orphaned girl with a high fever who's in desperate need of penicillin; and a corrupt marine-patrol officer.


Unhappy Landings

    Jarod poses as a U.S. Marshal who's trying to ensure the safety of a witness in a drug-cartel case. Meanwhile, Miss Parker asks Broots for help tracking the children her mother once helped; and Sydney consults his psychiatrist.

Jarod's Honor
    Acting on an e-mail tip from Sydney, Jarod heads to New Orleans to track a lead on the identity of his parents. While there, he stumbles upon a dead hit man and assumes his identity in hopes of preventing the planned assassination. Meanwhile, another cryptic on-line message sends Miss Parker and Sydney to a convention for twins.


Baby Love

    Jarod finds, and instantly bonds to, an abandoned baby boy. His search for the newborn's mother leads him to a rogue cop and District Attorney who want to dispose of the infant.


The Dragon House

    Jarod risks everything when he breaks back into the Centre to help Kyle, a fellow Pretender whom he met as a tormented child years before. Kyle is now an escaped convict held hostage by the evil Mr. Raines. As Miss Parker and Raines close in, Jarod glimpses his mother for the first time in decades.
