"Good morning!" a little girl came up to the boat and greeted them1, also interrupted their romantic kiss. "Hey Angel. Did you have breakfast yet?" Nick asked, taking a seat at the little coffee table. "What were you two doing?" she asked curiously. Nick looked at Kayla and smiled. "Nothing, just having breakfast that Kayla made," Nick said drinking his milk. "You two were kissing. Just like Jack and Rose did in Titanic," Angel said and giggled. Kayla and Nick started to laugh. Aaron came up and joined them for breakfast. Kayla woked up early and set up some cereal and muffins and cut up some fruits. She did what she could with what Nick had in the fridge. And they all chatted and talked happily. "Hey Nick?" Aaron asked for Nick. "Yeah?" "Mommy wants you and Kayla to come inside the house for dinner tonight." Nick looked at Kayla and knew it was a bad idea, since Kayla wasn't too fond of BJ and Leslie. "Hey Big A, go in and tell mom that we have plans tonight and.. maybe tomorrow. Got it? Okay go!" Nick told him. Aaron and Angel left them and headed toward the house. "What plans?" Kayla asked. "Just some stuff I want to do tonight." "So what are we going to do tonight?" she asked. "I want to take you down to the beach and then walk on the Boardwalk. It's beautiful there at night. And you can do some shopping and there is a fair there too. It's gonna be fun," Nick explained. That was exactly what they did. Nick was in his cargo shorts and a white T-shirt with leather sandals. Kayla was wearing her cargo shorts and a white strap tank top with her beach flip flops. They were a matching couple. Hand in hand they walked down to the beach.
They played around with the waves and Nick would carry her up and swing her around. The kissed and shop and kissed and shop. Everyone on the Boardwalk thought they were newly weds. "Well, Mrs. Carter? Are we ready to go back and eat?" he said and laughed. "I think that's a great idea, Mr. Carter," and she laughed. They got back and the boat was decorated with candles and the table was set out with foods and drinks. "Who did this?" Kayla asked. "BJ and Leslie," Nick answered her. "Did you pay them?" she asked with grin. "Actually they did this to say sorry, and I sort of had to pay each 20 bucks and for the food!" he laughed. "Wow! They're expensive caterers," she laughed. "YUp! I'm totally broke so you have to repay me! And make it good!" he said holding up a piece of chicken from the salad and fed it to her. "Mmm.. good food," she said. "Really? Let me taste," Nick said and kissed her. "It's okay, but you could have let me taste more of it," he was about to give her another kiss and she interrupted him. "I want to wash up. Is that okay? I mean, the salt water isn't quite a lovely perfume," she said. "You look great to me," he replied softly. "And I think you smell great," he smiled.
Kayla showered and came out in a white summer strap dress. It was simple and elegant, just right for the evening. "Nick?" she called out to him as she was walking up the deck. She came up there and saw Nick in a suit. He looked handsome, Kayla thought. He had a black suit on with a blue shirt that brings out his eyes. "Hey, come over here," Nick said. "YOu see those stars? Everytime I look at your eyes, those stars are what I see," he pointed at the dark bluish sky. Kayla looked at him and kissed him. They came down to eat and dance. She was in Nick's arm the whole night. "You really threw the guys out of the dance routine?" Kayla said and started laughing. "You were that miserable without me?" "Hey, don't laugh. Did you really went back to the school gym and stayed there?" he asked and started to laugh. "Yup, I was stupid," she replied. "I don't want you to do that without me next time," he said sounding serious now.
Nick kissed Kayla and rested her head on his shoulder. Kayla's head was breathing toward his neck. He hot breath was so soothing, Nick thought. It really felt good. She was laying soft kisses on his neck, and then towards his ears. Nick could feel her tongue tracing the rim of it. The two slowly danced. "Nick?" "Yeah Kay?" "I want you to be with me tonight." Nick looked into her eyes and kissed her deeply, opening his mouth to allow her tongue to strok his. He picked her up with two arms and carried her into the bedroom. Still kissing her, he gently laid her on the bed. He climbed over her and she stood up on her knees. She helped him unbutton his shirt and then back to kissing him. Nick took his hands to slip off her dress. His blue eyes were widely open starring at her bra. Kayla made a chuckle but went back to kissing him. Nick was trying to get her white bra off, but was having a hard time. He stopped and looked at her. "They should start making new inventions on these stuff," he said and both started to laugh. "Here, let me try," Kayla placed the hand over Nick's hand loosen up the bra. Nick went back to kissing her and place one of his hand over her breast. And laid her down on the pillow. They continued to kiss. Nick kissed Kayla all over her body. From her lips to her tummy and all the way down to her smooth legs. Then they pulled a sheet over them and continue their romantic night.
"Honey? Are you still sleeping?" Kayla asked, playing with his ears. "It's morning, wake up." Nick climbed over on tp of her and placed his head on her chest. "Nick?" "I like to hear your heart beat," he said softly. "It's really nice waking up next to you." "Yeah, me too. It's really great," she fiddle with his blond hair. "You know, I was really scared the last time," Nick said laying a kiss on her shoulder. "You were great," she said and kissed his forehead. "Did I scare you? I thought I was giving you a hard time, sorry, I didn't know," Nick said looking at her eyes and went back to resting his head on her chest. "Nick, I want to have dinner with your family tonight." "Are you sure? I don't want to force you. If you're not comfortable, you don't have to," Nick said running his finger up and down her arm. "No, I want to." "Okay, we'll go to the house later," Nick sat up and kissed Kayla. "I want to stay here all day." "We can't babe, I want to help your mom," she got off and walked toward the restroom. "You don't have to do that," Nick said from the bed. Kayla came out from the restroom dressed. "Yeah, I do.. this is really important to me. C'mon, get up.Please!" She pulled him up and got him dressed.
They went into the house and greeted everyone. "Hey Kayla? You wanna go shopping later?" 16 year old BJ asked. "Sure!" Kayla said with a smile. "Cool! I love your summer outfits, where did you buy your shorts and tanks?" BJ asked. "Oh, I got them at the shop down the Boardwalk, in the surf stores. You can get them in the mall too." "Cool! You got to show me," she said. Kayla, BJ, and Leslie started talking so Nick went to talk to Aaron. "Hey Big A, watcha doing?" "I got new video games on the PC! You wanna check them out?" Aaron asked him. "Nah... hey, maybe tomorrow or later? Alright?" Nick answered him. "Nick, can I ask you something?" Aaron said seriously. "Yeah, sure lil bro," Nick said rubbing his head and messsing up his hair. "Is there something wrong with Kayla?" he asked and was curious to know. "No, why do you ask?" Nick asked quickly and he also wanted to know if there was something wrong with Kayla. "Remember that first night you guys were here eating? Well, remember when Kayla had to use the restroom and I had to go to the one in Mommy and Daddy's room?" "Yeah," NIck said trying to follow where Aaron was heading. "When I got out of the restroom and went back to the dinner table, I passed by the guest restroom and heard Kayla crying. So I was just wondering if she was okay," he finished his story. Nick thought for a minute, but he couldn't find the reason why Kayla was crying. She seemed really happy last night. "Yeah. Thanks for telling me this man. It really helps. I really appreciate it," he said to his little brother, "so when's your next trip?" "In two days, we're going to Japan!" Aaron said.
"Cool.. it's a great place," Nick said and both headed out the living room. But one thing never left Nick's mind.. Kayla. What else can she be hiding from me? I did everything I could to make her happy? Nick thought through those questions while he observe Kayla. She looked really happy. Is she just pretending to be happy to satisfy me? Nick really needed the answer. BJ, Leslie, and Kayla went shopping and Nick was just relaxing at home and hanging out with Aaron. When the girls got back, Nick looked at Kayla and called them up for dinner. During dinner, Nick didn't say a word. He ate and sat on the couch. Kayla was still talking to his sisters. "Kay, let's go. You have to rest," Nick told her. They got back to the boat and Nick got into bed and fell asleep. Kayla got into the sheets and snuggled up right next to him. Nick held onto Kayla tightly, because he didn't wanted to wake up and not see her next to him. Nick was scared to ask her want was going on. He had lost her many times. He didn't wanted to loose her agian. Kayla and Nick fell asleep in each other's arms.
