Life Has Good Times - And Bad Part 13

The other boys finally caught up to me.

"Dang, what took you guys so long?" questioned Brian. Nick put his hands on his hips.

"Well, excuse me B-Rok! There was a huge crowd here and we couldn't get past them! What were they laughing at anyway?" Brian and AJ glanced at each other. They both looked up at me. I covered my mouth but I just couldn't hold back my laughter. I started laughing and laughing, I couldn't stop if my life depended on it. I finally fell onto the floor, holding my sides. Howie, Nick, and Kevin looked at me very strangely. But Howie cracked into a grin.

"Care to tell us what you're laughing about?" I coughed, laughed a little more, and coughed again. I pointed to Brian and AJ who were still on the floor next to me. I started to say something, but laughs just came out again. AJ rolled his eyes. "She pulled us by our ears, damn, it hurt!" The other boys chuckled loudly. Nick helped me up.

"So, Missy. You finally found our weak spot, huh?" I smiled widely.

"Yah, I think I have. Now I know what to do to get your attention...," I said, slyly. The boys backed away from me. I laughed again. Mrs. McLean and Mrs. Carter casually walked up to us. Mrs. McLean laughed.

"So, Alex. You learned your lesson, I presume?" AJ frowned at his mom. He got up and shrugged his shoulders.

"I guess, Mom. Did you tell her to do that?" Mrs. McLean held up her hands as if to say "No way, didn't say a thing!". Mrs. Carter gently shoved me and Kevin from the back.

"Come on, you guys. Calm down. You have a show in 5 hours." We all started walking through the airport again, with the boys desguised of course.

"So Nicole," said AJ calmly. "When do you plan to sing for us?" I hesistated. I felt my face get hot. I think that was like, the 66th time I blushed that day. Everyone was waiting patiently for an answer.

"Um...I...er..I have no idea. Not anytime soon, I hope," I replied, dropping my head a bit. Brian slapped me hard on the back. I jumped a bit. He grinned at me.

"Well, we'd better hear you sing later tonight!" I shook my head fast.

"No way! I am not about to humiliate myself just yet...," I protested. Kevin rested his elbow on my shoulder and gave me a sweet smile.

"Too late for that, we saw you sleeping, remember?" I glared at him and playfully pulled his hair. He laughed. We finally reached the van everyone came in. I stopped and turned to the boys.

"So, what do you guys think of me so far?" They all exchanged looks. Brian threw his arms in the air and shouted,

"BACKSTREET HUDDLE!!!" Kevin, Howie, Nick, and AJ ran over to him and they all got into a tight huddle. I crossed my arms and walked over to Mrs. McLean and Mrs. Carter. I sighed.

"Boys." They laughed.

"Don't worry, Sweetie," said Mrs. Carter. "You'll get used to them."
