The two slept until 2 in the afternoon. They came down together, Brian had to carry Katie everywhere, and she hated it, but she loved to be with him. Everyone noticed it, they were holding each other and kissing each other in front of everyone and they now knew that they were bonded forever.
"AAAWWWW, there's the hot couple," A.J. said with a broad smile, relieved that they were both happy. "I'm not," Katie said with a frown and everyone looked at her curiously, "I can't walk, so of course, that means I can't dance." Everyone knew that she would within a couple of weeks, but all that really mattered was that she was okay.
"When's the wedding?" She asked Lauren, who was sitting next to Nick on the couch. "Next week, but we were going to cancel it..." She said and looked at Nick. "Don't you got to get married! Do you have everything arranged?" "Yeah, we have the dresses and everything, remember? You and me went a couple of weeks ago." Lauren said, smiling again. She wanted, more than anything, to marry Nick. The only bad thing was that they couldn't go on a honeymoon because they still had recording to do. Nick had planned to take everyone on a vacation up in Maine next winter, but it was December right then so they had to wait awhile.
"Oh that's right, I can't wait! I am so happy for you guys," she said and looked at them, they looked perfect together, and they were perfectly happy. They sat down and had a late lunch. Katie was getting bored, she couldn't do anything because she couldn't get on her feet.
Over the next two weeks she and Brian spent a lot of time together, she moved into his bedroom and they had defiantly never been as happy as they were now. Katie was even more happy when they headed to the hospital and got her stitches taken out.
"I am so happy! I want to dance and run around, I never want to see another hospital ever again." "I can only imagine how you feel," he said as he turned and looked at her while he was driving, and then looked back at the road. He looked sick and Katie was worrying about him. He was pale and he had been very quiet. "Are you feeling alright?" She asked and put her hand on his cheek, he wasn't hot and he didn't have the sniffles. "I'm fine, don't worry about me." He said and smiled again, looking like he was hiding something, but she didn't ask. They got to the hospital and he picked her up and brought her in to the emergency room to get the stitches taken out.
"How are you feeling?" The doctor said as he walked in and looked at Brian, he knew who he was, his daughter had a huge crush on him. "Fine. But I would be even better if I could get those out of my feet!" She said and pointed to her feet. He nodded and got all of his materials and started his work. "They maybe a little sore for the first couple of days, but they will heal when you walk on them," he said and finished with one foot and moved on to the other. "Okay, all done." He said and smiled. Katie immediately jumped up and hugged Brian. "Finally!" She said and nearly ran to the car. Brian had brought some shoes and socks that she had quickly put on and was now off. They drove home and everyone smiled when they saw her jumping around like she was an animal just let out of a cage.
"Brian, everyone is going to be home for dinner tonight," Kevin said and looked at him and nodded. They usually went there separate ways for dinner and they really liked it when everyone was there. Howie appeared from downstairs and smiled.
"I think she is feeling better," he said, pointing to the studio. Everyone went down and watched as she danced her heart out. "Okay, time to practice!" She yelled in a grin, she loved to work when it came to dancing. "Chop, chop," Howie said, remembering when she had said that to him. "You got that right buddy!" Everyone laughed and ran up and got dressed coming back almost right away. They had two hours for dinner and Lauren had offered to cook dinner, which meant Pizza, fresh from the delivery boy's car. Everyone knew that she couldn't cook, mostly because she didn't have the time or the patience, but they didn't mind, Katie was a great cook.
They practiced for a little while and then went back upstairs and got cleaned up and went to the dining room for dinner. They all laughed and giggled, especially Brian, who looked better than he did earlier in the day. They had four huge pizzas and were chatting away. "So," A.J. said, continuing his conversation with whoever would listen to him, "She said, I love you Bone, will you please do me the honor of marrying me. I was looking at her, like she was nuts or something. I said, I'm sorry, I'm married to my sunglasses, you see I own a lot of them and I have devoted my life to get 10,000, I don't have enough time, or room, for a wire. It was just a joke, but I don't think she thought so. She ran to her mother, she must have been like 8 years old or something," he said and Brian burst out laughing. He thought that was so stupid that it was funny. He just laughed and laughed, and everyone eventually joined in, wondering what was the matter with him.
"So, we aren't touring for awhile, right?" Kevin asked, trying to think of a way to bring Brian back to his senses, he was still laughing. "Right, the fans will be disappointed but we aren't going to be touring for another two years, I think they understand, though." Howie said staring at Brian, who was still laughing. Katie looked confused, she was sitting next to him and staring at her plate, not knowing what to think. "I know, but that gives us all the more time to practice!" A.J. said and smiled, then Brian looked up with a weird look on his face. "Will you marry me?" He blurted out. "I'm sorry man, I'm not ready yet," A.J. said and everyone laughed, except for Brian. "No, Katie," he said and looked at her. "Brian...I don't know...." She stared at her food and nodded. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" He was perfect for her and she knew that she should do it, so she screamed her answer and they hugged each other tightly while everyone else clapped. "Was this planned?" She asked. "No way! I just blurted it out! But I mean it with all of my heart," he said and placed her hand on his chest and then kissed her.
"Yeah! We can have a double wedding!" Nick said and jumped up for joy and hugged his best friend. "Do you think that we will have enough time?" Katie asked, she wanted to get married as soon as possible, so she could move on with her life with her new husband. "Yes! I know we will, just pick out a dress tomorrow, it is Monday so all the places will be open, then just call in who ever you want and we will do it!" Nick said running around the house like a little kid. "Well, I am not going to call anyone, all the people I love are right here," she said with tears in her eyes and everyone gave her a huge and a kiss. They had another wedding to plan!
