"Who want's to play Truth or Dare?" A.J. asked, dying to play. They only had an hour left and they were running out of things to do. Everyone raised there hands and A.J. told them that he would start. "Truth or Dare....Katie," he said happily as he looked at her, and she smiled, she didn't mind the game, as long as it didn't get out of hand. "Dare..." She said, a little more nervous this time. A.J. wanted to go easy on her, but he couldn't resist, "Katie...Katie...Katie." "Ugh oh," the group said in unison and then laughed. "A.J...A.J...A.J..." Katie responded.
"Okay, you have to kiss Brian," he said to Brian, who shot him an approving glance, but Katie wasn't so sure. She walked over to him and gave him a small peck on the lips. "No, no, no, Brian is not your Grandma! Show me some more!" A.J. said and Katie smiled, she knew she could do this, she walked over to Brian and gave him the most passionate kiss she had ever experienced, and he returned it. "Ok. Ok. OK! We get the point!" A.J. said and the two backed away from each other, surprised how well it had been. "Your turn Katie." "Ok.....I have to ask A.J. because he will be the only one who will do it, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare!!!!!!!" he screamed, and everyone laughed. "Okay, now I am going to whisper it to you and then you have to do it, and everyone will find out what you are doing during the dare." Everyone nodded and Katie whispered in A.J.'s ear what he had to do, he nodded and smiled. He went up to wear the bodyguards were and everyone could hear him start to scream.
"OH MY GOD IT IS BRIAN! I THINK HE IS INSANE, HE IS HOLDING TRAIN HOSTAGE!" A.J. screamed in fake tears and came back to the back of the bus with the bodyguard who had his gun up. "Mr. Littrell, I will have to ask you to leave the bus," the heavyset bodyguard said and Brian looked at him in surprise and everyone laughed. "It is just a dare!" Brian said. "Yeah, that is what they all say," the bodyguard said as he picked up Brian by the collar and was about to through him out the back door when A.J. spoke up. "We are just kidding, it really is just a dare," he said and winked at the bodyguard, who dropped Brian on to the floor and rolled his eyes. "I hate these kids," he said when he walked back to the front of the bus. But they knew he didn't mean it, be got pranked on so many times that he was getting used to it.
"Brian, you go next," A.J. instructed. "Okay....Katie, Truth or Dare?" He looked at everyone and no one seemed to care that they were being left out, they were still having fun. "Truth." "What is your biggest secret?" Brian asked and Katie turned bright red, not sure how to answer the question. "I pass." She said. "No passing," said Nick. She nodded, it was going to be embarrassing. "Ugh, I can't think of anything..." she said, turning blank in her head, she didn't know what to say. "Oh come on..." whined A.J. "Ugh, I can't tell you." "Yes you can, we won't tell anyone..." Kevin said, trying to make her feel better. "Ok...well, at one of my foster homes the father was really drunk once and he started beating me and two other girls up, I stabbed him, but didn't tell anyone," she said, blushing. Her foster mother had taken the blame and Katie had really never gotten over it. "I think I am going to go into the other room now..." she said and walked over Howie who was sprawled out on the floor.
They waited the short time to reach the hotel and they had the same sleeping arrangements, Katie always leaving her adjoining door unlocked. They did the concert and had a blast, getting great reviews the next day. They continued the pattern for the whole tour, moving there way over to the east and then overseas. They were having so much fun, they earned a lot of money and got great reviews. All of their singles and albums appeared back on the charts and they were listed as the best selling concert group of all times.
Every city that they went to Katie and Brian went out to dinner and he always gave her a new charm for her bracelet, by the time they went to England she had to get another bracelet since she didn't have any room on the original one. She and Brian became very close, but never really got past a friendship that they knew would last a long time.
The year and a half flew, and before they knew it they were back in there house in Orlando, all of the guys had to rehearse for television shows that they were going to be on, and began working on new songs for their next album. But on the second week back from the tour all their dreams ended when a tragedy occurred.
