GHB is a strong sedative that magnifies the effects of alcohol by 4 times

Each dose is approximately $5.00-$20.00, making it easy to obtain and increasingly popular among date rape offenders

Victims usually fall unconscious for 4 hours, and do not remember the events that took place just prior to and during the state of unconsciousness

Common symptoms and adverse effects include dizziness, nausea, and confusion

Two girls, Samantha Reid and Hillory Farias died from complications involving GHB, and there are bills currently in legislation bearing their names to increase punishment for using GHB
