• Nicknamed "Special K", "Purple", "Vitamin K"
• This is a legal veterinary anesthetic, which can be used in humans or animals
• Liquid powder or tablet form
• Adverse effects: distorted sense of time, balance and judgement inability to communicate, blurred vision, numbness, disorientation, trembling, hallucinations, amnesia, convulsions, respiratory depression, and loss of consciousness
• Effects typically last for an hour but it is not uncommon for them to last for 4-6 hours. Also, victims generally do not recover from the drug for 48 hours
• The penalty for using the drug to commit a rape or other crime is a felony, which can be punishable for up to 20 years in prison
