Poetry and Sayings
Friends
- Don't be dismayed at goodbyes; a farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for friends.
- Like rainbows and flowers, friends brighten the hours.
- Best friends are people who know all about you and like you anyway.
- A friend is one who comes in when the whole world has gone out.
- A friend is a present you give yourself.
- Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never ever the same.
- A true friend is someone who can make us do what we can.
- Friends are like walls. Sometimes you lean on them, and sometimes it's enough just to know they are there.
- Make new friends but keep the old -- one is silver, the other gold.
- A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.
