The story of David and Goliath is so loved by all children because here is a "big bully" getting beat buy a "little guy."
Tell the kids that David was sure, not in his own powers, but in the power of the Lord. David trusted that God would be with him and help him defeat Goliath.
The hero in the story is God, who saves His people. Jesus defeated His giants for us. Jesus defeated sin, death and the devil. Be excited with your kids as you rejoice in the vctory we have already won in Jesus.

David's Bag A cutting and lacing project.

David's sling
Take a brown lunch bag and cut off the top half of the bag. (set aside)
Draw 4 stones on gray construction paper, about 3 inches in diameter. Have kids cut them out. On the bag write these words: I trust in the Lord. Psalm 31:6.
���Back to the bag.....Using a hole punch, punch 2 holes on either side of the bag so you can attach brown yarn to the bag.
Put the stones in the bag/sling.
