Make Your Life A Better Place

Put God first and seek his direction in all you do.

Here's some other things to do that will make your life a better place to be:

• Call up a forgotten friend.
• Share a funny story with someone whose spirits are dragging.
• Pay a debt.
• Give a soft answer.
• Make a genuine effort to stay in closer touch with family and friends.
• Resolve to stop magnifying small problems and shooting from the lip.
• Give a compliment.
• Listen more.
• Be kind.
• Forgive an injustice. Apologize when you realize you are wrong. An apology never diminishes a person. It elevates him.
• Lighten up. When you feel like blowing your top, ask yourself, "Will it matter a week from today?"
• The sure way to have a friend is to be one.
• Don't discourage a beginner from trying something risky.
• Go to war against animosity and complacency.
• Read something uplifting.
• Vow to eat more sensibly.
• Walk tall, and smile more.
• Don't be afraid to say "I LOVE YOU".
• Keep looking up! He's got it all in control!
