The following is a Table of Contents outline of Volume V of the Strong Family Association of America Update Series. This outline is provided in order to assist the researcher in following the various discussions which arise from time to time on the Strong-List and in this Website. For more information about purchasing the actual book, researchers should contact The Strong Family Association of America. and inquire concerning the following citation:

The book includes an update to James R. Rolff's book, "Strongs of Virginia and the South", (c. 1983), plus data on numerous unconnected Strong families. Two or more chapters concern lineages descended from "Elder" John Strong, who emigrated from England to Massachusetts in the 1630's.

Where the names indicated are "linked", they are either linked to descendency charts which have been placed on the SFAA Website by Martha Strong, or to entries on the Lineages Directory maintained by David B. Strong. The following codes have been addred before each entry to indicate what is known about the origins of the lineage mentioned:
