Kittil in 1827 was the benfactor of the estate at S�nju at Eiker for 450 spd, it was 4 lispund rent.
Kittil and Ambjorg moved to Sonju on Lake Eiker, there Ambjorg died in 1850. He released the "benefiserte godset" (land assigned to a clergyman who receives the profit as part of his pay) in 1827 for 450 Spd., his son, Gulbran, assumed a debt on the farm when he purchased it for 684 Spd., and gave his father 400 Spd. In 1866 the farm had 52 "Moal" (1 moal= 1000 sq. meters) of plowed field, 35 moal pasture, 1 horse, 6 cows and 12 goats, there were woods for household use, and 3 holdings other than the main farm, altogether worth 1200 Spd. |
