Mrs. Guri O. Helgeson died at her home in Trondhjem October 6th from cancer of the stomach.
Mrs. Helgeson was born in Flaa, Hallingsdal, Norway, August 22, 1845. She has been a resident of the town of Trondhjem for about 40 years, where she and her husband, Ole Helgeson have prospered. Besides her husband, she leaves four grown children, out of 12 which were born to them to mourn her loss. They are: Chris. Helgeson and Mrs. Olene Vigen, both of Columbus, ND and Mrs. Theo. Helgeson of Rothsay and Ole Helgeson at home. She also has two brothers in Trondhjem. They are Halvor and Erick Moen.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home and at 2 o'clock from the South Immanuel church. Rev. Bjornson will officiate.
Guri Ingebrsd Kolsrudmo emigrated in 1868 with Reier & Christi Tollefsd Helgeson.
