"Reconciliation" was written at almost the exact same time as the Colombine shootings in Littleton, Colorado. I did not know it was happening then until four hours after I had written the poem. I had originally written this piece in response to a broken friendship with my best friend; I was seeing the heart of our Lord and how He desires reconciliation amongst all His children, for He does love us all. "Promises" is one of my most recent ones that I have written. I have, throughout the last seven months, been continually reminded by the Lord that He never breaks His promises and that we just need to trust Him and let Him do His work in us. This is where I am at the healing process. It hasn't been easy, and has been long and painful. I know He hasn't forgotten me and He will never forget you. Just trust in Him, rest and wait and see what He will do in your life. ANNOOOLAND'S Various Links The Annchor | Devotions | Inspirations | The Blessed | Crucifixion | 15 Prayers | John 3:16 | ROS | Rose Garlands | Pan-A-Vision | AnnDangered | Panpals | Panasia | PanIsland | Pantasy and Legends Pan, Peter and Ann | Awards | My Awards | AnnHancer | Home Shannon Heyman's Homepage Get your FREE Yahoo!GeoCites Homepage WebMistress does not support nor endorse the advertisements that are displayed at random below on all her pages. Brief Autobiography
Hi, I'm Shannon Heyman, mother of two boys, Justin Everett, age< 5 and Aaron Benjamin, age 2. I have been married to Bill for 12 years and live in California.
I started writing during a major crisis I had been going through and felt the need to express my feelings on paper and it ended up in poetry or song. I started sharing it with people and many told me I have the talent to write poetry and songs.
