Spencer Morgan, father of Spencer H. Morgan was one of the first elders in Hebron Presbyterian Church, in Franklin Co., GA. Spencer Morgan and family moved to Nances Creek settlement, south of Piedmont, Calhoun County, ALA. In November, 1833, Sarah C. Little and Spencer H. Morgan joined his parents in Ala.

Rebecca ANDREW MORGAN later married Lee CAMBELL at Nances Creek, AL. They had one daughter, Julia CAMPBELL.

Until A.D. 1927 they lived in Calhoun Co., AL; they then moved to GA and lived with one of Leander T. LUSK's children by another marriage. There Leander died during 1927.

This family emigrated to Alabama, settling in the Goshen settlement a few miles from Piedmont, Calhoun Co. Here they were living in the summer of 1857 when plagues of measles and flux caused the death of seven of their children.
Following the death of her husband, Elizabeth M. Turk lived at Canton, GA with her son, Dr. John Milton Turk.
