Children of Nancy Ollie Fair Little and Cicero Richards

This family moved during 1874 to Saline County, AR. from Homer, Banks Co., GA., settling five miles sourth of Bryant. They were there to greet the rest of the family of James Monroe Little when they finally came to Arkansas.

4. Nancy Olive Fair Little (b. 10 Dec. 1845, Franklin Co., GA; d. 23 Sept. 1886, Saline Co., AR) m. 4 Jan. 1868, Banks Co., GA to Cicero RICHARDS (b. Franklin Co., GA; d. June 1883, Saline Co., AR); they had:Lenora, Zoe, Arvis, John Daniel, Louis, Maud, Mary, James, Rhoda.

5. Lenora Richards (b. 7 Oct 1868, Banks Co., GA; d. 25 Nov. 1895, Saline Co., AR) m. Robert Lee CHILDRESS; they had: James Plumar, Janna Fair, Lonie (died young), Dinkie (died young)

6. James Plumar Childress(b. 23 Mar. 1888, Saline Co., AR) m. 12 May, 1910, Saline Co., AR to Toncie GRIMMETT; they had: Rachel Marie (b. 13 Apr. 1911); Opal Doris (b. 15 Mar. 1916); Odies Edward (b. 16 Feb. 1918; d. 8 Aug. 1918); Janna B. (b. 17 Jan 1920); James William (b. 10 Jan, 1923). All children born in Saline Co., AR.

6. Janna Fair Childress (b. 17 July, 1893, Saline Co., AR) m. Nov. 1909 to Boyd CANTER; they had: Annie Boyce (b. 1 Sept. 1910); James Clyde (19 Feb. 1913); Nola (b. 31 May 1915); Lola (b. 31 May 1915); S. Burnest (b. Sept. 1917).

5. Arvis Richards m. in Saline Co., Ar to Jefferson PIERCE; this family moved to Texas about 1900. They lived for about six years near Boyd, Wise Co., TX and then moved to near Amarillo.

5.John Daniel Richards (b. 18 Dec. 1874, Saline Co., AR; d. 26 Sept. 1918, Sherman, TX) m. 14 Mar, 1901 to Cynthia Jernegan THOMAS (B. 26 Sept 1881, near Fayetteville, AR); they had:

6. Carl (7 Nov, 1903; d. 20 Nov. 1919) Shortly after the death of his father, he was employed by a traveling circus, and during that employment, he was fatally injured.

6. Marie (b. 19 Aug, 1906; d. 30 Apr. 30, 1908).

6. Relve (b. 12 April, 1912)He was married and had Relve Wayne Richards (13 Sept., 1935)

5. Louis Richards moved to Texas and lived near Boyd, Wise Co., Tx.; later moved to west Texas.

5. Maud Richards married Charlie DONHAM; said to possess the Richards family Bible.

5. Mary Richards married Isaac GRAY; said to have lived at or near Paris, Tx. No children.

5. James ("Jim") Richards (b. Saline Co., AR; d. 13 May 1903, Saline Co., AR in a dynamite explosion in the Lants mine, near Bauxite. It was said that he was tamping the charge of dynamite in a hole; the fuse was found to be defective).

5. Rhoda Richards (b. Saline Co., AR; d. of influenza in Oct. 1918, probably near Boyd, Wise Co., TX ; married and had two children.
