In The Name of Jesus, (will) Whereas, we, 2 persons, I Joist heighte and
Maria Mgdalina Relict, and widow of Christian Nuschanger, according to
Gosd's Holy Ordinance with the knowledge and consent of our Friends and
childredn and Relations are going to enteer into the Holy State of
Matrimony. We have made this Nuptail part one with the other. First
promise to the aforesaid maria Magdalina all the Christian Love and
faithfulness. Secondly, as neither of us are a moment secure from death
so I promise her that my House shall be her Home or Widow Seat so long as
she lives & the Heir to whom the said House shall fall shall provider her
necessary Diet and Cloathes and of that do not please but that she rather
desires to have her commendations in any other place, so shall the
aforesaid Heir to the House yearly pay her Six pounds ready money and
this is my well considered desire. Joist heighte.
And likewise wife i, Maria Magdalina promise the aforesaid Joist Heighte,
First all Love and Obedience, Seconly I am designed to bring with me to
him some Cattle, money, household stuff which in an Other Agreement with
Attested witnesses shall be Described & should I die before the said
Heighte so shall the said Heighte have the half thereof and the other
half shall be delivered back again to my heirs and this is allso my well
considered desire. Thirdly and Lastly, whoever of the aforesaid persons
shall die first the half of the portion the Woman brings with her shall
go back again to her heirs. her

Joseph] and Jacob IN Nisswanger. (mark) In the contract of Hoist Heighte
and Mary Magdalena his wife, married persons made the 10 of November,
1741, the following goods were brought to-wit. 1.In ready money 22
pounds, 17 shillings & 4 pence. 2ly. 2 mares 1 colt of the value of 14
pounds. 3ly. 2 drawing steers value 3 pounds, and 10 shillings. 4ly. To
course Bed Cloathes in all 3 pound, 16 shillings and 6 pence. And the
said money is adjudged to be in Virgiana Currency the 16 of November,
1741, also 1 horse mare 6 pound. Joist Heighte. Witnesses: Peter
