Seattle Micro-Mini Clowder #2
This is Talisker Pippin, and I guess it's my job to tell about any clowders
that our meowmie goes to here in Seattle. So here's thuh story uv when Aunti Diane came
to visit.
On August 4, 1997 there wuz a micro-mini clowder meeting at thuh Unifurrsity
uv Washington thuh State. Aunti Diane (who lives wif my drumming buddy
Island Ember) had been viziting Momma Jo and Momma Beth at the Jesse Memorial
Cat Complex in Oregon thuh State, and on her way back to Vancouver Island
she stopped off to vizit with our meomie at her werkoffissplace. This iz
a gudgud kinda clowder meeting, cuz they nefur came out to our house to
try to kitnap us or take our pikchurz and we didn't haf to hide frum noo
hoominz (who, even if they're nice auntiez frum Thuh Lisssst, are still
noo hoomins in furson).
Aunti Diane and
our meowmie luked at lotza pikchurs uv us kitties (like this one of my
friend Ember) and drank ice tee and had pizza inna HUB�(which iz thuh
stoodent union at thuh Unifursity uv Washington thuh State and is rite
across thuh street from meowmie's offiss--it wuz reel gormay fud we bet
[heeheehee]). �Then Aunti Diane left and drove back to Vancouver
Island (we fink she took a bote somewhere along thuh line, cuz [heeheehee]
you can't drive alla way to Vancouver Island wifout riding on a
bote somewhere). But before she left, Meowmie had a frend take this next pikchur
of the two of them standing in front of her offiss door--those are our pikchurs
(alla us--Ceilidh, Skye, and me, Talisker Pippin) onna nameplate behind them,
even if you can't see them gud in this pikchur.
Meowmie is thuh fluffy hoomin wif long fur on her hed; Aunti Diane
is thuh unfluffy hoomin wif short furs.
Aunti Diane showed meowmie this pikchur uv my frend Ember at thuh pooter.
Ember n I play drums together sumtimes, n we haf a gudgud time. (This pikchur
shud put to rest any rumors that cats don't reely uze pooters!)

-- there wuz another micro-mini clowder last yeer, when Aunti Jo
and Aunti Beth stopped at meowmie's werkoffissplace to visit when they
were coming back from Victoria (on Vancouver Island) where they'd just
taken Marble n Yarrow to live wif Aunti Melinda n Unka John. Dum
Meowmie didn't think to have her camera there to take pikchurs,
so there's no record uv this micro-mini clowder (where once again, no one
came to our howse to scare us or shine lites in our eyes or take us inna
Out to smurgle -- we like auntis onna pooter, but they're scarey noo hoomins
when they're onna porch). And of course, there's thuh Micro-Clowder
when Aunti Micki came to vizit, but she came out to our howse, and
she and our meowmie spent lotza time driving around Seattle and eeting
in restaurants and luking at pikchurs, and they took lotza pikchurs too.
But Aunti Micki didn't see me, Talisker Pippin, and Aunti Diane
didn't either (heeheehee).
