Camping, or RV touring, is the ideal way to discover this provinces' natural beauty. British Columbia has over 30,000 miles of paved highway, thousands of miles of secondary roads, and the world's largest government owned ferry fleet, to take you where you want to go. There are over a thousand campgrounds to choose from in your travels throughout British Columbia. Everything from wilderness forestry campgrounds, to five-star RV Park Resorts offering full hook-ups including cablevision and telephone, plus heated pool, hot tub, golf and other amenities.

If you prefer to fly to British Columbia, and begin your camping vacation when you arrive, there are many RV rental companies who can supply you with everything, from a van conversion, truck camper, or motor home fully equipped, including bedding, linen, dishes, pots and pans.

British Columbia has a warm, fairly dry summer climate with day time high temperatures in July and August ranging from the low-seventies to mid-nineties. Some areas, such as the Okanagan, are very dry while others like Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland and the North Coast receive more precipitation. The best camping season is from May to early October.
