Ian McQuaid
We were privileged to meet Ian McQuaid on June 3rd, 1998, when another friend introduced us in a 3-some Chat on ICQ. Little did we realize what a loyal and devoted friend he would become!
Ian is from Glasgow, Scotland. However, for the greater part of his life, he has lived with his wife, Margaret and family, in Toronto, Canada. They celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on June 27, 2006.
In October of 2001 we had the privilege of meeting Ian, his wife Margaret and their family at their lovely home in Toronto, Canada.
Ian is a natural-born Comedian, with a very out-going personality. His mission in life is to spread joy to people and bring smiles to their faces. What better medium could he use than Old Nelly, his computer. This has made it very easy to correspond and stay in touch with him. Ian calls us his "Two Angels". Through some fluke of ICQ, on May 31, 1998, a strange name appeared on our monitor. After a brief mysterious chat, we authorized to be on each other's Buddy list. It was no other than Cindy Rieben who lives in Winchester, Tennessee. After a few messages and chats, we became very good friends. Several months later we even had the opportunity of meeting Cindy in person.
