Pedro (perhaps Pierre) Parent and his wife Juana de la Crois (also shown as Lachois) migrated from Canada to Louisiana sometime before 1788. It is believed that they lived in Quebec, Canada, but I have been unable to verify this information as of yet.  None of their descedents are known except their son, Luis (Louis) who married Monica St. Eustache.  A marriage record for Luis and Monica has not yet been located.

Monica was from Mobile, Alabama, the daughter of Pedro St. Eustache of Provenza, France and Catalina Lechert (or possibly Fucher).  Monicas surname was also shown as Juger in the Baton Rouge Church records.

Luis and Monica had several children, one of which, Jean Pierre married a Celeste Cambre.  These parents were to give birth to twin girls, Irene Parent and Marie Jean Parent on 6 Jan, 1821.

Irene later married Auguste Louveau in Ascension Parish and they were the parents of Metilda Camile Louveau, who married Mathieu Morin.

Research is being continued into this line and this page will be updated as new information is received.
