Jean Eduardo was born 2 Sep, 1792 in New Orleans to Francois Gonzales �Portugues� Morin and Bridget Duvernay. On 13 July, 1813 he married Marie Dolores Dolhone Perdomo, at St. Louise Cathedral in New Orleans. Marie was born to Rafael Perdomo Jr and Felicite Lavergne on 16 May, 1798 in New Orleans. She died on 26 Nov, 1821 in New Orleans and was buried on 27 Nov, 1821 in St. Louis Cemetery in New Orleans. They had only two known children. They are:
- Michel Celicore Morin, born 22 Oct, 1814 and christened 24 Oct, 1815 at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. He married Antoinette Duvernay on 19 Mar, 1835 at St. Louis Cathedral.
- Marie Adelaide Moran, born 22 Dec, 1819 in New Orleans. She married Joseph Antoine Bonaventure Martin on 18 Mar, 1835 in New Orleans.
Our line continues through Michel Celicore Morin and Antoinette Duvernay. According to family history, Michel was an accountant in New Orleans, and although most of his children were born in Ascension County, Michel and his family continued to live in New Orleans. |
