Chocolate Kiss Peanut Butter Cookies
2 2/3 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup soft butter or margarine
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
5 doz chocolate kisses

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Mix flour, soda, salt and set aside
In large bowl mix peanut butter and butter till blended
Add sugars and beat til light and fluffy
Add eggs and vanilla and beat more
Stir in Flour and mix well
Use 1 Tablespoon (T) of dough for each cookie.
Makes 5 dozen balls
Roll each ball in granulated sugar
Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and place a *kiss* on each
Bake 2 minutes longer
Remove to paper towels

MAGIC COOKIE BARS

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups ghraham cracker crumbs
1 14 oz. can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350*
325* if using glass baking dish
Melt butter in baking dish
Spread cracker crumbs over butter
Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs
Top with remaining ingredients
Press down firmly
Bake for 25 to 30 min. Or untill light brown
Cool cut into bars
