This page is dedicated to our father, William Arthur Lilley, Sr. We all have different perceptions of him as a father and as a man. I think he was ahead of his time in his attitude to women in the workplace. He felt a woman belonged wherever she chose to belong. I should clarify that; he felt that way in regard to his daughters, not his wife. She belonged at home.
My sisters are proof of his attitude. Three of them hold positions in male-oriented business structures. One of my sisters holds a more traditional role; she is a school teacher. I just have a job.
