Our Organizational Structure
Like all organizations, Chilhowie United Methodist
Church has an infrastructure that helps it conduct its ministry.
At Chilhowie UMC, we are structured to accomplish ministry
in the following manner:
- Administrative Board
- This Board is responsible for all the administrative functions of our
church. The various administrative committees that are a part of the Administrative
Board compile our budget, oversee our facilities, deal with the staff and
pastor, and conduct other administrative type duties. The Administrative
Board meet on the second Tuesday of every even month at 7:00 p.m. in the
church fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and
enter into the discussion, but only members of the board may vote an issues
that come before it.

- Outreach Ministry Group
- Witness Ministry Group
