2. Alexander (Alex) ADAMS. Born on 16 Dec 1848 in Scotland. Immigrated in 1856 to Canada. Alexander (Alex) died in 1939 in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Buried in Woodville, Ontario, Canada. Occupation: Railroad Dispatcher At Woodville, Ontario Rail Station (Grand Trunk - Midland Div.).

Research: Emmigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1856 at age 7.
Entered Canada at port outside of Toronto -- point of entry was Witby.

Lived in Woodville Canada . Moved to Toronto after Daniel moved to Michigan (after 1901 - living in Woodville at the time of the 1901 Ontario census). He was being taken care of in Toronto by his people there..he had a son there (Everett).. and people from his second wife's side of the family. He was living with a family named Browns. Mrs. Browns was active in her church and took trips to Isreal. Found the cemetary but couldn't find his grave site in Woodville when I was there in 1953.


bef 1876 Alexander (Alex) first married Mary STANTON. Mary died abt 1887 in Woodville, Ontario Canada. Buried in Woodville, Ontario, Canada.

They had the following children:
3 i. Daniel Webster (1876-1954)
ii. Anna. Born in Feb 1879 in Ontario, Canada.

Research: Moved from Ontario Canada to Sigel Township, Huron County Michigan around 1892 with Daniel Webster. Also stayed as a lodger on the Whitelem farm.

Move to British Colombia sometime after 1900.


Anna married McGOWAN.

iii. Everett. Born on 14 Jan 1880 in Ontario, Canada. Everett died aft 1930.


bef 1891 Alexander (Alex) second married Mary E. McBEYEN(?), daughter of McBEYEN(?) & Aann (1831-). Born on 11 Aug 1865 in Ontario, Canada. Mary E. died bef 1938.

They had the following children:
i. Hazel A.. Born on 11 Jan 1891.

ii. Gorden H.. Born on 27 May 1896.
