Materials used :   
- Boye hook 7  
- Minlon Family - white (Size 10 Thread)   
- Minlon Family - red (Size 10 Thread) - for flower   
- Embroidery thread - Silver
- 4-Ply Metallic yarn - gold (for 'ribbon')   
- 1pc bead - gold (for flower center)   
- 1/4" width red satin ribbon - 20"   
- scented potpourri (wrapped in scraps of cloth/netting material)   

Instruction :   
Sachet pouch : (Start with white thread only)   
Commence by winding thread around index finger 2 times and remove from finger.   
Rnd 1 : Ch 1, 11sc into ring, sl st to 1st sc to join. (11sc)   
Rnd 2 : Ch3, dc into same st, 2dc into each st around, sl st to 3rd ch to join. (22sc)   
Rnd 3 : Ch3, dc into same st, 1dc into next st. Work (2dc into next st, 1dc into next sts)  
            around.   Sl st to 3rd ch to join. (33 dc)   
Rnd 4 : Ch3, dc into same st, 1 dc each into next 2 sts.  Work (2dc into next st, 1 dc each  
            into next 2 sts) around.   Sl st to 3rd ch to join. (44 dc)   
Rnd 5 : Ch4, sk 1 st, work (1dc into next st, 1ch, sk 1 st) around.  Sl st to 3rd ch to join.   
Rnd 6 : Ch3, 1dc each into next 43 sts.  Sl st to 3rd ch to join.   
Rnd 7 : Repeat round 5.   
Rnd 8 : Repeat round 6.   
Rnd 9 : Repeat round 5.  Fasten & break off yarn.   

Begin next round using white thread & silver thread together as 1 strand.   
Join at point where last fasten off with sl st.   
Rnd 10 : Ch1, sc into same st.  1sc each into next 3 sts.  Ch2, sk 1 dc.  Into next dc,  
              work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc), ch2,  *sk 1 dc, sc into next dc, 1sc each into next 6st,  
              sk 1dc.  Into next dc, work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc), ch2.   Repeat from * once.   
              Sk 1dc, sc into next dc, ch2, 1sc each into next 2 sts.   Sl st to 1st sc to join.   
Rnd 11 : Ch1, sc into same st.  1sc each into next 2sts. **Ch3, into 2ch-lp of shell,  
              work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc, 2ch,  2dc),  ch3, sk 1sc, 1sc each into next 5 sts.   
              Repeat from ** 2 more times.  Work 1sc each into next  2sc instead of 5 sts,  
              sl st to 1st sc to join.   
Rnd 12 : Ch1, sc into same st.  1sc into next st.  ***Ch4, into first 2ch-lp, work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc),  
              ch1, sk 2dc.  Into next 2ch-lp, work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc), ch4.  Sk 1sc, 1sc each into next 3sc.   
              Repeat from *** 2 more  times.   (To end, work 1sc into next st instead of 2sts,  
              sl st to 1st sc to join)   
Rnd 13 : Ch5, ^into first 2ch-lp, work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc, 3ch), sk 2dc, sc into next sp.   
              Ch3, sk 2dc, into next  2ch-lp, work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc).  Sk 1sc^.  dtc into next sc ^^.   
              Repeat from beginning of ^ to ^^, then from ^ to ^.   Sl st to 5th ch to join.   
Rnd 14 : Ch3, into center 2ch-lp of 1st shell, ^^^work (2dc, 2ch, 1dc, 3ch, sl st to 3rd ch from hook,  
              1dc, 2ch, 2dc)^^^,  sc into next sc.  Into 2nd shell, work as for 1st shell from ^^^ to ^^^,  
              dc into next dtc.   Continue working  the "shell into shell" around.  Sl st to 3rd ch to join.   
               Fasten & break off yarn.   Weave in all loose ends.   

Small red flower (with red thread size 10)   
Rnd 1 : Ch2, into 2nd ch from hook, work 6sc.  Sl st to 1st sc to join.   
Rnd 2 : Ch3, 2dc-puff st into same st, ch2, sl st to same st.  Work (3ch, 2dc-puff st into next st,  
            2ch,  sl st into same st)  5 times.  Fasten & break off yarn.  Weave in  loose end.   
With starting loose end in center of flower, bring to front of flower through center.   
Slip gold bead onto the  loose end  and insert end of thread into center of flower to back.   
Fasten off and attach to center, above rnd 9  of sachet.   

To make up :   
Prepare the 'gold' bow by using  gold thread and work 60ch.  Fasten off and clip off ends.   
Insert wrapped potpourri  into sachet pouch.  Loosely, weave in the 60ch 'gold' thread in and out   
between dcs in rnd 9  of sachet.   Pull up ends to  equal lengths.  Make a bow just directly under  
the red flower.   

Thread in the 20" red satin ribbon behind the sachet and fasten off so that this end can be used  
to hang  sachet from your car's rear-view mirror!!

2dc-puff st :   
(yo, insert hook in st, yo, draw yarn through st, yo, draw yarn though 2 loops on hook) twice.     
Yo, draw yarn through 3 loops on hook (puff stitch made)   

dtc (double treble crochet) :   
Yo 3 times, insert hook into st.  Yo, draw yarn through st.  *yo, draw yarn through 2 loops on hook.   
Repeat from * 3 times (1 dtc made)
