White frill, blue, twin pouch sachet
(Original design by Daphne Mah - 1999)

Materials used :   
- Boye Hook no. 7 
- Minlon Family - Navy blue 
- Minlon Family - White 
- 1/4" width satin ribbon  - white 
- scented potpourri wrapped in netting material 
- tiny satin flower, sewing thread & needle 

Instruction :   
(make 2 pieces) 
With navy blue thread, ch4, join with sl st to form ring. 
Rnd 1 : Ch1, 8sc into ring, sl st to 1st sc to join.   
Rnd 2 : Ch1, sc into same st, work (6ch, sc into next st) around. 
            Ch, dtc into 1st sc to join. 
Rnd 3 : Ch1, sc into same loop, work (4ch, sc into next loop) around. 
            Ch2, hdc into 1st sc to join. 
Rnd 4 - 8 : Repeat Rnd 3 
Rnd 9 : Ch4, dc into next loop,  ch1, work (dc into next sc, 1ch, dc into next loop, 
            1ch) around.  Sl st to 3rd ch to join. 
Rnd 10 : Ch1, work (sc into next sp, 5ch, sc into same sp, 5ch) around.   
             Ch2, dc into 1st sc to join. 
Rnd 11 : Ch1, sc into same loop, work (5ch, sc into next loop) around. 
            Sl st to 1st sc to join.  Fasten & break off yarn. Weave in loose end.  
Rnd 12 : Join white with sc to loop of Rnd 11.  *Ch1, into next loop, work (1dc, 1ch) 
            5 times, sc into next loop.  Repeat from * around.  Sl st to 1st sc to join. 
            Fasten & break off yarn.  Weave in all loose ends. 

To make potpourri cover 
Loosely sew around netting material about 1/4" from edge.   
Fill in potpourri and pull up thread & fasten opening.   

To make up :   
Weave in ribbon between dcs of Rnd 10.  Insert wrapped potpourri & pull both ends 
of ribbon together.  Tie to form a bow.  Stitch satin flower onto middle of bow. 
Tie a piece of ribbon into middle top from inside of pouch.  (ribbon for lower pouch 
should be sligthly longer than upper pouch).  Thread ribbon of lower pouch through 
netting of upper pouch from behind bringing both ribbons together at the top.  Insert 
both ribbons through key ring and fasten with another piece of ribbon with a bow.
