MY RESPONSIBILITY

My responsibility is climbing the stairs

Sneaking up confused as I try to change

She decides what momma says is true

Believing now men are built strange

As she catches me in my underwears

My responsibility gets stronger every day

Wearing me down as she grows tall

Life's a series of accidents for her to do

As the simplest discoveries mean all

For my responsibility finds the world her way
